Quite excellently, I got the one for Mensies as well. The ball joints are a little looser but they make just as much of a difference.shajaki wrote:How'r they working out for you?
Super happy with them and thanks again for the link.
Erry bit as good as the PE kits I have

One a completely unrelated note; just got done with the new Ghostbusters flick and it was a fun ride. Fav character was Holtzmann. I she was the chaotic neutral mad scientist of the group. She is also the spitting image of Egon from the cartoon series.

No problem my Novembro! I bought from newday2015 and they are now $2 less. I added both to my cart and they can in poly bags in the same small box.Cobotron wrote:Could you link a brother in the right direction, pretty please?
EBAY LINK
The link was huge; pick your color and enjoy

I prefer the Bruticus ones, but you can also find the OG ones that PE released for more. I don't like the noodle fingers they come with.
Edit: my KB was tripping. Sorry about the jungle, hopefully it was just a shipping time frame F'ing. But they can suck it and suck it hard!

Done! Thanks BROticus!
And thanks to Unkle Jak for hipping us to these.
I nabbed the silver 'cause they seem pretty universal and will look good with lots of guys.
So the Jungle DID have a couple of Microman things I got, but I put that TRU exclusive Takara only Armored Blacknight Leader class Prime in my order. It took them 3 days to get back to me. In that time they sold it out from under me. They had 6 more at varying prices. I emailed back to see if they could add the next cheapest one to my order. 2 days later they replied, "kindly make a new order to add the item". I went this morning, and all have been sold.
Shuuv it up yer Jungle hole Jungle Jerks!

Re: Cary's TF Collection and Photos
Yeah, their customer service leaves a little to be desired and exemplifies the fears with using import shops. But considering how well most peeps experiences go, I guess it's just a YMMV kinda thing. Other than my one (big) issue everything else went off without a hitch.
I've said it before but I'll repeat because of how smitten I am again. Those CW upgrade kits really do take the combiners to a whole new level. Poseability and stability are just off the charts. I've been playing with all four of my complete combiner this morning and I'm thinking about a slight rearrange of their shelf.
I've got black, white, grey, and purple sets. If I was planning on forming Optimus Comprimer again I'd grab a blue set. If I get any more combiners you can bet their shiny metal robutt I'll be getting them a color matched set
I can't watch for BBTS to get in the DNA set for Devs

Combiner Wars: The Weekend Fling Edition
Titans, smitans; it's all about Combiner Wars for me lately. I got inspired to do a little rearranging of my scrambled egg combiners. With a little help from mother nature I took some pics.

Autobots and team Outlier

I am especially happy with Superion and Menasor.

Oh Jungle
I was watching that sale.... damn. There was half a dozen things I was drooling over, guaranteed buys come payday, all gone in 12 hours. Then there was a couple big ticket items (Black Big Convoy and UW Galvatron) gone soon after that. And there were like 10 of those damn Granvatrons!

1st, sorry to hear that Cobro.
2nd, Cary, I see Sunspot there with your Strafe. There is one on Ebay I am trying to win now to go with mine.
3rd, if anyone finds a spare Alpha Bravo, I'm willing to take him in. I got some
Symbols to make him Vortex

Yeah doc, for a brief few minutes I considered taking the biners outside since the weather has been so nice. Then I got lazy.
Yup D, that is Strafe and Sunspot combined. They were featured in the latest photo challenge.
Also, why make AB into Vortex when you can just find a cheap Vortex at Tj Max or do I sense some SG shenanigans going on

Yep, I was saying I remembered seeing them and you are the reason I am trying to win that Sunspot now

Also, yes, I got some SG Shenanigans going on. I want to do it. I have the stickers to do it. Still need a classics Cliffjumper though. I need the most famous character in that series (and the funniest and so much more)

thanks D. You know? It's not that big of a deal. I can live without a another movie figure. And it can't really ruin this B-day. I've realized 41 is like the most boring, uneventful age one could turn. 40 was all...D-Maximus_Prime wrote:1st, sorry to hear that Cobro.

Plus, seeing all of Cary's upgraded combiners has me real excited for the set I ordered.
And Cary, I was so gonna order the dark blue for Primebiner, but I thought I'd get something generic to test the waters.
The tell tail sign to tell the differences between the OG PE set and the Bruticus set is the guns hanging out the heels, ya? The first sets had Gatling guns, right?
Guys, I've been meaning to ask this, but was affraid it'd make me seem 41 and out of touch, but...

Well, I'll be 40 in 30 so you can't be that much more out of touch then me. Teh is just a common typo that used to be an Internet meme/joke thing. Auto correct has pretty much made teh extinct, cept I thought my KB the wrong way.Cobotron wrote:The tell tail sign to tell the differences between the OG PE set and the Bruticus set is the guns hanging out the heels, ya? OK, them PE kits, yep. The first design had gatling guns with the feet being a little clunker and noodle fingers and the Bruts set is sleeker with the cannon guns and boxy fingers. Defensor has the OG kit if you can make out any detail.

Underappreciated Figure: Generations Windblade

A concept I'm tossing around and by tossing I mean posting in multiple venues. I was doing some rearranging and stickering/restickering. I added a chesticle sticker to gen Arcee and decided Windblade needed some loving. I got to playing with her and I decided she is way more articulated than quite a few bots released since.
Her wings can be moved across several axises to either change her look or represemt mood.
Her arms have a crazy amount of movement. Ball jointed shoulders (with wiggly shoulder pads), bicep swivel, a good amount of elbow swivel and frakking wrist swivels!
Legs have ball jointed hips and thigh swivels with more than 90° knee movement.
Her sword sheath can be mounted on her thigh or back via the nosecone.
Granted her transformation, poses and getting her to stand can be a fiddly nightmare, but I've never had a problem. Making her look cool on my shelf. She may inherit a dedicated flight stand in the near future.
So, my question to you is: who are your underappreciated figures and why?

My underapprieciated figure would be FOC Jazz. I've heard a lot of hate towards that figure (and FOC in general), but I've always loved him.

I hear ya, good call! I have both Jazz and Sideswipe with Jazz somehow being the better of the two. His chest transformation works better. It is a little awkward and goofy looking, but works just fine. Such a nice and detailed figure.Autobot N wrote:My underapprieciated figure would be FOC Jazz. I also have the second run with the amazing light piped visor.

Aestheticallly speaking the WfC/FoC are some of my favorite designs. I just love that super Cybertronian pre-earth look.
What people don't like is the plastic, size (some characters being too small or just they are small figures to began with) or how some figures are somewhat simple with limited articulation. Then people complain that WfC Prime and Bee are too complicated and that Bee is too large. There is just no making some folks happy (the Prime line and that Bee got me into the collecting game).
Me? I think all of my WfC/FoC figs are awesome and pretty damn faithful to the game, including Jazz

Prime Beast Hunters Abominus. "Legion class combiners" don't work they say. Well, this one sorta did. Yeah, posing is kinda crap. but it is 6 legion figures. 5. Legion. Figures. We really have underestimated how well some legion combiners work, and that is one
