Probably not but I can't say I'm surprised. The color changes are fairly minor between croc Megs and skull cruncher aren't they? I doubt they wanted to waste the resources too just do a minor redeco.

It'll probably come out as an exclusive somewhere else, like Takara Tomy Mall. Because capitalism.
I mean, the Skull- toy has enough alligatorness to act as surrogate, but the deco does need more greenery. :-?

I am such a moron Steals_your_goats, your right. I dont need to spend more, I can just put the head on skullcruncher and make em face off. Sure more green, like va'al says, would be nice. But I am all for not spending more money

THE STRUGGLE IS REAL! Damnit, Steal your goats makes a good point. That Hasbro head for skullcruncher isnt great, but he wouldnt need it anymore. You could get the takara version and then choose taht head for you skull cruncher and then put the megs head on the body taht fits better. But which is it?!

I would say Hasbro simply because Takara's colours are far more bright and work better for a G1 aestehtic.

I love it, but I can't help but think it's too bad they didn't do these as:

Ape Face = Voyager Triple Changer
Mindwipe = Titan Master

AND

Snapdragon = Voyager Triple Changer
Skullcruncher = Titan master

Having Optimal Optimus and Transmetal II Megatron in Voyager class, with their first appearances as appropriately small accessories, would have been neat.

On the otherhand this also just makes me think it'd be neat to have more of the Beast Wars/Machines cast in general, and I wonder if there's a planned con exclusive down the line.

Hardhead => Tankor
Highbrow => Obsidian
Cerebros => Megatron

Obsidian and Megatron would be pretty repetitive at this point, though, and we've had a lot of the Pre-earth Beast Wars stuff (though I personally have none of it). On the other hand, these will be really easy figures to retool, so I kind of expect to see a larger number of exclusives but a fair bit of laziness in our future.

Edit: Though I just realized they could use the Titan Masters to spoof all the reprogramming and body-swapping in Beast Machines. Repaint Hardhead as Tankor but include both a Tankor head and a Rhinox head. And Titan Master Fangry looks a lot like the old Savage/Noble toy...
