He's a fun little dude. Not my total Rodimus at all but his car mode is sweet!

I held out on picking him up, but he is far better than the previous Legends class versions of Rodimus I think. I'm getting my Rodimus display back together, AND I made CW Megatron a Decepticon again. Those Reprolabels sure do make that figure pop.

I'm disappointed that I didn't take advantage of that $15 off coupon I had with them. Lazy.

While changing CW leader Megatron back to a Decepticon, my daughter took an interest. So I removed the projectile missile and gave him to her. She took him around most of the rest of the day. Placed him on shelves, tables, etc. Hilarious. Even tried to "nap" with him, didn't snap a picture though

I remember in one of the other threads somewhere someone mentioning "I wouldn't buy anything but a Rescue Bot for my 2 year old". That's a shame. Kids need the complexity!

BTW, my daughter will be two at the end of March.

So, yeah. Toys are made for kids, and the latest ones from Hasbro are durable enough for under 2 (at least under 2 that aren't putting things in their mouth anymore). Obviously take away some of the smaller "choking hazard" things, but if you're right there playing too, it's all good times

Hey that CW legends Rodimus is a fun figure. Someone you know may or may not have modded that lil guy to be a little more Hot Rodimus-y.

As far as durability for the under 2 crowd... I think that depends on the toddler. My nephew is just over 2 and is just starting to play with things without them being a toss exclusive type toy.

I can't wait until he gets to the lego stage

Baby girl Cram has been great with toys, it's awesome! Obviously I haven't given her any of the MP figures and I make sure to remove the tiny bits (even the tiny bits you don't think about), but the CHUG stuff is durable. CW voyager Optimus Prime, CW leader Megatron and CW leader Ultra Magnus seem to be her favorite.

In LEGO news, we took her to LEGOland in Florida just after she turned 18 months and she had SO MUCH fun. That place was great, tons of DUPLO Zones (re: air conditioned) where she just went to town. She's had DUPLO since she was one, and I'm ITCHING to buy her the big kid ones (but I'll wait, totes choking hazards).

Yeah man!! I have since grabbed the rest of my Rodimi from their plastic homes. I will be re-organizing the display to accommodate them soon. Last night I was sitting on the couch detailing them, some were slightly dusty, and then I had them in alt mode and then bot mode. I also realized I have a bunch of non-transformable Rodimus variants (well not a bunch). I didn't bring them out of the plastic condos.

MP26 and MP27 should be here by the weekend!!

I've also heard that MP28 will be shipping out to retail on Feb 25th!

So I mentioned re-establishing my Hot Rod/Rodimus/Rodimus Prime display, and here they are. All of my TRANSFORMABLE representations. I have some of the MegaSCF/Heroes of Cybertron/Revoltech figures but I prefer displaying the Transformers

And then, yesterday, I had two new arrivals!

So I did some updated group shots..


So, basically, that is the current collection display. With the exception of G1 Optimus/Megatron/Galvatron, BW Optimal Optimus, Energon Galvatron, and CW Optimus/Megatron/Ultra Magnus. Woo!

I really need that Reximus Prime, MP Grimlock isn't big enough!!

I'm a pretty big fan of all my Rodimi, I only have two duplicate molds. The Classics/Reveal the Shield Rodimus and MP TRU. I'm not a fan of having variants of figures, but for him I had to get the RTS. I'm also fairly certain I have a version of each available mold, with the exception of the new Q Transformers. He's on my list now!!

I really like the Rodimi! Nice set!

So I just realized another figure I want in the Generations line (curses!!!), Thunderwing. Re-reading the G1 comic (and Re-Generation One)...man, Thunderwing was awesome. And now there's a 3rd party one being developed based on the Stormbringer storyline? Oh. Snap.

really?? Stormbringer Thunderwing?? Awesome!! I have been looking at a Generations Hoist but just haven't jumped on one yet. He's that last pre-CW guy that I really want right now.

How'd the Road Rage auction turn out?

Auction reached my max bid with 45 minutes left. Didn't even bid

slightly better thing though: whoever did win it unfortunately paid $50 before shipping, and there are Road rages on there for $45 with free shipping, so that poor guy lost out a bit

Well, I paid $60 for my Road Rage and $70 for Ironhide (shipped together) so yeah..

Won TFA Black Rodimus for $35 shipped, which was slightly more than I hoped to pay. So I did some searching for Shattered Glass Rodimus and did one of these..

I think that should be attainable.

I also think the only way I'm purchasing ANY TF:TM Platinum Edition sets is if I get them on sale. I mean, I really want to go crazy with TF:TM 30 but I'm gonna hold back..or at least try to.

I've kind-of resigned myself to the fact that there aren't anymore TF:TM MPs coming this year and that I need to stick with Has/Tak stuff, not 3rd Party.

Also, I'm done with Star Wars, there's gonna be a lot of within the last 10 years figures on the FLoFoTFaOSaTFS. I'll buy the movies, but really, the only figures I'd want are the Hot Toys versions which are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of budget.

Trying to be sensible here.
