Is everyone getting the 6th member? I'm not sure if I want it. of course it'll all depends on how awesome it is and the story and such. but as of right now I'm not sure they'll be a place for it in my collection.

Yep i'll buy it , am i right in remembering it will be an arm so divebomb can fully attach to the back or was that speculation?.

That's correct. It's a sabre toothed cat that turns into an arm and allows Divebomb to attach directly to the back so there's no partsforming.

Divebomb's tail is a bit small.

As for the 6th member, I might be getting it so it can be re-purposed for another set. Depends on finances at the time.

If you mean an actual TF as opposed to an original character, yes.

Are we expecting chromed wing-tips? I ask because of how, in robot mode, one wing has golden tips while the other appears black.

Also, this speculated sixth member; is it speculated that Divebomb can still function as an arm if desired but it'll be at the cost of wings on Predaking?

I haven't heard that Predaking wouldn't have wings if you used Divebomb in arm mode. That'd go completely against the very first render they ever showed us.

If you want to stick with the 5 member setup, you can still use Talon (not-Divebomb) as an arm. If you eventually get the 6th member, you'll have a more symmetrical Gestalt and Talon will be used as a backpack with wings.

I would expect the wings to match. Perhaps the pic was meant to show both what a black wing set would look like as well as golden. Given Hexatron has black wings instead of white, I think it's possible that MMC will "reformat" into black wings. I hope not. But even if they do, I would expect Reprolabels to provide something.

As far as the sixth member, I am virtually certain it was confirmed by MMC that Divebomb will have wings that detach if one wishes to use Divebomb as an arm. Predaking will still have his wings. The sixth (Sabertoothed figure) will be available as an arm replacement and Divebomb can be used as a backpack to bulk up Predaking.

I believe this is confirmed, and not speculation. If you can sift this monstrous thread, there was commentary about this, and I believe a confirmation from sources at MMC.

For myself, I am struggling with an accurate portrayal of Predaking with Divebomb-arm and how it will look with a sabertoothed arm. Do I want accuracy? Do I want something that is a little different that looks really cool? Pics will probably sway me to buy the sabertooth.

I didn't embed it because I snagged the full size 2048x1000 picture. It would stretch out the page something fierce, and if people quoted it down the line it would stretch out that page too. Nobody wants that.

Yes, it's confirmed that Divebomb's wings will detach G1 style and you can make Predaking the old fashioned way. They'd have people frothing at the mouth if they did that.

The disparity between the wingtips is just that the right one is cast in shadow. It's not actually black in this picture.

My thoughts: I get the eagle head now. It works. I'm cool on that front. In fact I LOVE the head. I'm not big on how the arms just fold up and sit beside his torso in bird mode, but I guess they're too big to open the chest up and put them in there. I think this is the first time we've seen the blasters, and they look nice. Especially in beast mode. I notice he lost the little claws on his wrists that he had in the prototype (http://www.seibertron.com/images/toys/u ... vebomb.jpg) and even on the combined render, but they were absent on the test shot of beast mode we got the other day, so it looks like they're really gone. No big deal, but it's something worth noting. I wonder how I never noticed that super obvious combiner port in his abdomen before. Now that I've seen it I can't ignore it. It's not super obtrusive but it's just.....really there, if you know what I mean. Hard to express in words. All in all I love the intricacy of the color patterns and it just blows UT's right out of the water. NO CONTEST.
