I'm syre she still has soft skin and flowing hair though.

I like the looks of that Ramjet. I just can't justify all those money dollars.
I hope they do Thrust and/or dirge as a more reasonable release.

Push comes to shove, they will be more reasonable releases when Hasbro does them. And for sure Hasbro will, they just love releasing seekers.

Shajaki, did you get Ramjet through BBTS, TFSource, Ages 3 andUp or elsewhere? Any reason for that preference in seller?

We broke amicably, still got along fine but didn't really put an effort to being friends right away. But lately we've been hanging out like pals, and its been nice being friends again.

I know, but I drank the MP Kool-Aid years ago and there's no going back now. And MAN am I ever looking forward to Thrust 8-}

BBTS. I really don't like how its almost a garanteed customs charge, but its my American online toy store of choice. Customer service is great and that goes a long way.

TFsource, fudge TFsource. I've heard all sorts of bad about them, and they blacklisted me for reneging on that TW FortMax, directly AFTER I bought 400 USD worth of Botcon figures from them. They don't allow cancellations after something is in stock, and I'd just spent all my dispensable money for that pay period WITH THEM. I'm surprisingly spiteful, and I'll never give them another dollar.

A3U just bugs me because they're in Canada, deal in USD, and have no shipping breaks for Canadians. They SHOULD be great for us, but are such a wasted resource.

 I feel the same way. They are technically the "best" option for us since we dont get duty fees and the shipping is cheaper than BBTS. BUT the fact that there is absolutely 0 advantage for being canadian with this canadian company, and the fact that it operates as if its in the US, makes me very spiteful. Like you, the only company I deal with in the states is BBTS. Curious of one thing though, TFSource says that over 150$, they give you some kind of break for international shipping. Was it ever significant before you stopped buying there?

James Howlett! Nice to have you in the shack!

My Rammy shipped a couple days after BBTS said they've inspected all their stock so I was worried mine might have been pre-inspection. It's kinda hard to tell, but the box looks like it has two different kinds of tape on it so I guess they did check mine out.

Hows yours in jet mode? mine doesn't fit together very solidly :(

I hope I am not being a drama queen but am I the only one who finds this whole Ramjet thing freaken nuts. I mean this is Takara we are talking about, wouldnt they have a stricter quality control than this? How is it that of all the MP 11 mold uses, its the one from Hasbro (Starscream) that is the most solid? Because of the price and the eventuality that Hasbro would release this in northamerica (might be 5 years but the lack of licensing makes this so easy to issue compared to the rest) I was ok waiting for the Hasbro version and now I am actually glad I waited, since as with last year's Srtarscream, I am hoping it holds together better than the takara version. And that is something bonkers to hope for since its usually the other way around.

Correct me if I'm wrong but.....

MP11 was Takara. MP11S (Sunstorm) was E-Hobby.
BUT, the others (TC,SW, and now Ramjet) who are the most prone to issues were all Hasbro Asia were they not? Maybe that has something to do with it? :-?

All I know is MP 11 was very loose in the waist region so I dont think it has to do with exclusivity. Though I would be really curious to know if anyone who got the Japan local release of Ramjet (from TTmall) have the same problem as all of us westerners who could only get the asian release.

My logic was maybe it dictated where they were manufactured. Unless everything Takara is made in the same place.

Alright folks, lets talk about Thunderclash.
Y'all remember I Render/Repro'd myself a Clash outta Battle Core Prime? Well I unexpectedly fell in love with the Combiner form. So much so that I've now got a second one in the works. Renderform Clash set #2 is already on the way, a second BC Prime is waiting, and I'ma order another Repro set. And THAT, isn't the pricey part.

I feel the perfect set of limbs for a Clashbiner are the G2 Stunticons. So I'll have to buy another G2asor just for that. Then I plan to buy the PC upgrade kit to stabilize that torso.

Image

But lordy, it might not even end there. The aqua/green/blue HFG's that come with G2asor are perfect, and I fully expect PE to make a G2 torso upgrade set (since they did it for Superion) which hopefully will come with that same colored hands and feet. All of that together folks, and I think my Clashbiner will be pretty outstanding 8-)

The torso upgrades for Menasor and the Primes by PE make the legs almost unmovable. Unless you are planning to just leave it in a wide-legged stance, I wouldn't say it's the most want-able kit.

I have the set for my UW Menasor, and it doesn't make them unmovable. The knee joint and thigh swivel are still present and usable. While it does hinder him slightly and make him permanently akimbo, I'd say it's a worthwhile upgrade.

When I first got the set, I was surprised by what you described, but still think its a good addition ;)^

I think your plan sounds AWESOME. I get why you would need two G2asors, but why two BCPs? So you can have a stand alone and a combined? You'll get no judgement from me as I doubled up on some molds so I could have a permanent White Knight of Cybertron. Except Sky Lynx won't give them back to BC Prime, because he just looks so damn good in them. BC is left with the Skyreign limbs, which I think look better on him than Lynx anyway.

Still fence riding on the Clash Repros, and starting to feel like I might need to try out some PE upgrades. Does the set above have the feet that split into guns, or are they just feet?

Yep. All the feet turn into guns, though Bruticus, Computron, and G2 Superion have laser guns instead of machine guns.

That's the ticket bro ;)^
The main feature of Clash is the new Renderform noggin, and in combined form you don't get to see that beauty!

And I think I just had a revelation... if I buy the PE set for BCP, and don't use the grey hands and feet, I might be able to use them for my UW Bruticus! I was going to get the PE Bruti hands and feet anyways, but they look the same albeit a slightly different shade of grey. Money saved!
