G1, IDW, WFC/FOC, Studio Ox, manga/anime are the designs I favor for Transformers and try to keep my classics collection along those lines.

I don't mind prime/animated designs...it's just not my thing. I really don't like bayformers though, aside from AOE emPrime(soon to be God Ginrai once I get the DX9 armor!)

I grew up in the beastwars-armada era and had alot of those f.h.e G1 Transformers VHS. So that helped shape what I thought TFs should kinda look like.

Yeah I'm putting my vote behind omega supreme from G1, the transformers from the live action movies have nothing on that clunker.

Wasn't movieverse arcee designed by the movie team as she was, at one point, supposed to be in the movie? If so then the toy designers are given some slack.

Though it shows how alien they wanted tfs to be in the movies.

It looks like Megatron (*sounds QI alert*), but it isn't. My guess is it's the hapless trooper that was remodeled into Megatron Clone by Straxus.
