youre jumping the gun again. all we have right now is half a blurry devastator.

Also guys, remember to take any info beyond what you see in the pic with a grain of salt. The person who gave more details recently is already back peddling on a few claims that were made bigger:

I need to clarify the TRU exclusive point. I'm not 100 percent sure if the employee means for the European market or if it was meant fire MP Bluestreak. You need to understand, that I was all about looking around, trying to spot and remember interesting details. So don't take that for a fact, that Devy is going to be a TRU exclusive until sine other attendee can confirm.

and

Assumed First Aid was only in vehicle mode, but it reminded me on universe Ironhide, so it's not a fact that he'll get an Ironhide repaint. Only an assumption of mine.

Most likely from the same user over at TFW2005 who was present at the Toy Fair. She also noted that since the leak that security has doubled, so I don't think we'll be seeing any more further leaks until New York in two weeks. :-?

Its from the same guy quoted earlier. But as I wrote in a post just above, he isnt sure about what he is saying since its his interpretation of what an employee said. Here is the quote.

The only thing I know,is that there will be a CW Computron.

This doesnt mean its this year. He probably asked if they have plans for later and thats what he got as a response. We knew there would be toys for the fourth film much before. This is just pseudo confirmation that the line wont stop with just what's been officially announced so far. And we knew that. The fan made combiner isnt coming out this year as well.

EDIT

See, another quote from the same guy:

CW is said to last for more than just one year.

And I didnt need to read that to know it, as stated above.

Great news, thanks...

Wondering if Computron is all repurosed molds or mostly new molds, Guessing the former.

Would have liked the CW combiners toys to follow a G-1 release toys order. With the First Four combiners being Superion, Menasor, Bruticus and Defensor. Then getting Predaking, Abonimus and Computron. With the extra gravy later being Raiden, Piranaking and Monstructor.

From who though? Drill Tank, Motorcycle, Futuristic Jets and Car... Afterburner, Strafe and Nosecone would pose a problem, but I could see Silverbolt being retooled into Scattershot and Lightspeed being a retooled Stunticon, but that's it. Way too early to speculate though.

From what I have been reading, it looks like Defensor will be made up of at least 2 new molds for the limbs. The constant observation with those who saw them is that they are less "realistic" than the stunticons which are based on eartly alt modes. This matches perfectly with the pics of Hotspot and Groove, which show them to be more cybertronian than earthly. If Computron will be happeninig in the line eventually (which I think it will, hasbro is currently doing very well with this line), it makes sense that there are a few molds already available with futuristic designs for Hasbro to use for Computron instead of having to create a bunch of new molds.

I am pretty hyped for this toy in its current form, but I would love to see a compatible Prowl toy produced to replace Hook (and maybe even a Hook toy that turns into a leg, to replace Scrapper).

Along that note, It would also be pretty cool get a Megatron that can replace Hook too, as I think that happened for about 3 panels in the RID book as well.

I don't think it is very likely that there will be official Hasbro toys for any of them though, so if any 3rd Parties are listening, you guys should totally get on those ones!

Re: Bounty for clear high res photos of Combiner Wars Devastator!

To clarify the post I made last night, I added the following text to the news post.

Seibertron wrote:Just to be 100% clear, if Hasbro does not allow photos of these products at this event, then we kindly ask that you abide by their request. We are not asking people to break rules and that was not our intention with our request. We don't want anyone risking their job or their access to Toy Fair plus we want to stay on Hasbro's good side too! If nothing else, this just adds to the excitement and continued discussion about one of the most anticipated Transformers toys ever.

Offering a fee for exclusive use of someone's photos is not unprofessional nor is it shady as some have implied or stated. Peaugh made an excellent point about whether or not this sets an example for how images are obtained going forward. It is something I considered. However, in this instance, I wanted to try something different by upping the ante so to speak.

Perhaps I should have used the word "fee" or "commission" instead of "bounty". Visions of Death's Head were running through my head and I thought the term "bounty" would be more entertaining to read and not sound as boring on a Transformers website as "fee" or "commission" does.

Offering financial incentives or payments for photographs for news stories is a practice widely used outside of Transformers fansites (particularly with mainstream/traditional newspapers and magazines). I wanted to try something new to shake things up and to see if someone could come up with something for us to use exclusively. At the very least, it could give us some additional advertising if people decided to use the watermarked images.

To those of you who are frustrated with this request, feel that it is a bad precedent, or just want to take shots at myself or Seibertron.com, I'm sorry that you feel that way. It was not my intention to upset anyone nor do I want anyone to do something they're not supposed to do in order to provide us with pictures (hence the clarification). Hopefully, in the end, this just adds another element to the excitement we are all feeling for this highly anticipated Transformers toy.

I do have a few potential leads out of this. Hopefully we'll have pictures of Devastator within the next few days.

It is about pageviews. Seibertron.com is a website. Traffic is needed for ads and ad revenue is what keeps the bills paid. Unless I'm failing to understand something, I don't see how this "screws the little guy" in any way. That is melodramatic.

Donno if I'll get this - but it beats the tar out of that crummy Bayverse version from ROTF. Even blurry and indistinct as it is, this little snapshot shows a toy of much better quality and visual appeal.

But when we're talking about anything related to Michael Bay, saying 'better than the one from his movie' isn't exactly shooting for the moon, is it....
