Hey there everyone, this is my first post.

I was wondering if I'm the only person out there who had/is having a Transformers themed cake for their wedding. My fiancee and I are getting married next month, and we both have loved the transformers since we were little kids, and TF has most certainly been a part of our relationship. Naturally, we thought it would only be fitting for us to have a TF-themed cake at the wedding! I'm the artist, so he left creating the topper up to me. I'm still deciding which figures I want to use, but I have a little bit of time for that yet. I'll put up some photos when I get it together!

If you've had an awesome Transformers wedding cake, show and tell!

I have seen pics of a lot of TF "groom's cake" but never of a full on Wedding Cake, sounds cool, and delicious!

Make sure you send some pics, but I guess the obvious choice would be Optimus Prime and Elita-1!

Definitely post pics!! My fiance and I are taking a looooong engagement and it's fun planning all the details! Our groom's cake is going to be the All-Spark Cube but we're unsure of what to do for the actual big wedding cake. Definitely want Optimus and Hello Kitty as the topper (I <3 HK and TF, it's a great thing!) I'm walking down the aisle to Mutemath's TF song, the rest of the wedding party is walking to the Autobots v. Decepticons score by Steve Jablonsky from the movie. We're ordering Optimus Prime garter belts from Etsy.com, even our wedding bands have the autobot & decepticon logo! (mine will be decipticon because I <3 Barricade and he's a decepticon in the film, we decided not to go with both autobots so we'll be like a set, we complete each other!) <3<3<3 TF

You're going to have an awesome wedding, Liz! And if I had known there's an Optimus Prime garter belt I so would have gotten that! I just got home from my honeymoon and still need to unload my camera, so I'll come back on later and post up some pictures of our cake. Quite a few of our guests came up to me and said that it was "more than meets the eye". I loved it. I made the topper myself and had Optimus Prime and Elita One on it. I even made her a little wedding dress. You'll have to put up some pictures of your wedding when you get married, can't wait to see what you wind up doing!

Here's some photos of it! His grandmother made the cake, it was as yummy as it looked awesome.

My wife and I had Robot Heroes Blackarachnia & Silverbolt on the top of ours. Unfortunately, the pics of the cake turned out really bad, so this the best we got:

Both of those cakes are pure win, thank you very much for sharing! My wife would have never let that happen, at least not at the time when we got married! At this point she would consider a grooms cake, but never, ever the wedding cake.

I know I have said it before, but I would really like to see what the guys from Ace of Cakes would do for a TF cake!

I created my Optimus and Elita-1 cake toppers myself using carved up Heroes of Cybertron figures along with FIMO and paint.





Then at the reception the tables were divided up by different Autobots. Each Table setting had The Autobot on front and then the entire bio on the back. With TechSpecs info!
