I'm making a new post for my ROTF Megatron that I painted awhile back since he is pretty much a new figure now.
I removed his back pack, hacked it up and joined some pieces back together to make his back look a lot sexier and more movie accurate (though not exact). I cut away his side walls and filled in the gap with Neoshifter parts. He no longer transforms, but that's ok; I never transform him anyways.

If you wanna see the WIP pictures, check out my photobucket album: http://s24.photobucket.com/albums/c4/NandyN/ROTF%20Voyager%20Megatron%20v2/

*-Scratch built claw blade, extending mechanism removed, gap in claw filled with wing parts from backpack. Lower claw-spike shortened.
*-Ball joint added to elbow of the murder arm using a 1/144 Gundam ankle joint (perfect since it has ball joint and ankle socket that in embedded into murder arm.
*-made left hand from scratch using palm portion of a MG Gundam hand (has a ball joint) and styrene sheets and a twist tie from the packaging of the Transformers. Each finger is bendable at the main knuckle. Bore out left arm and embeded a socket for the hand, cut away excess plastic and glued styrene sheets to build up the arm and make it look more like the CG.
*-gave him some rust detailing here and there

in the picture below, you only see two fingers and a thumb, but he does have 3 fingers and a thumb, its just behind the others.

NeoShifter and random Gundam parts are great to have around when modding your transformers. You can pick up a neoshifter from Ross stores for about $5 these days, so go get one if you can. The scale is probably better for modding Leader class toys, but some parts can work for Voyagers as well. Anyways, leave a comment with any feedback or questions! Thanks for looking!

Wow! Nice custom. Looks more impressive than the Leader Class Megatron. Is there any pictures of it in vehicle mode? Nice job! 5/5 for ratings :)

Read what he wrote - it doesn't transform any more.

Blobatron, you've created a beautiful movable statue there. The hand is great. I've been thinking about ways to improve that hand and twisty-ties seemed like the best option. I want to keep the transformation so I'll have to make it interchangeable so he doesn't have a hand sticking out of his cannon!

Why did you need a ball joint for his right elbow? He has a rotating upper arm anyway.

I added the ball joint so he could have elbow movement independent of his upper arm since I just couldn't get the poses I wanted from the original joint, also, the original joint in the claw arm still curls even with the ball joint inserted, so it lets me curl his arm in even more. Plus, I figure, he's a robot, so why not let his monstrous murder arm flail around in all angles for maximum death dealing!

Thanks for the comments. I really liked what you did with your Leader Megatron. Seeing how you turned Scary Movie 2's Butler into that awesome Megatron is what inspired me to have a go with my Voyager Megatron.

Lol at Scary Movie's Butler!

Wow, I inspired that? That's SOOO flattering! And ironic cos when I renovate my voyager Meg you might find his left hand looks familiar!

You gonna have a go at the leader as well?

We shall see. I'm still working on my others right now, and not to much disposable income to buy Megatron at the moment (College does that to you).
