First? You lie!
That's a good paint job there, most people drybrush it and call it done, but you painted it with silver full. The 09 BB is getting a bit of overkill with the 1000.5 customs, but you did great nonetheless.

It actually is my first. It's the product of a lot of reading up on how to paint and stuff. Jin's how-to-paint-transformers guide rocks!

It's really funny coz I didn't realize that I needed a black base coat even if his robot parts are already black. I just drybrushed silver unto the bare plastic (which I didn't even wash with warm water and soap).

Naturally, the drybrushed silver paint did not really stick well. Because I'm too lazy to even try to strip the paint off and start over, I just kept re-drybrushing silver, and tried to protect the paint with krylon and future, until after a few days, all the paint layers piled up into something rock hard that doesn't scratch even if you try really hard with a fingernail.

That's why it looks like it's fully painted in silver:P

Though Some Copper/gold Details wont go amiss..

I actually did place some gold details, specially on the legs and feet. They just don't show up very well on the pictures, specially since I was not able to light the legs well.
