I'm going to bump this for the sake of suprise. Not even one comment - that's sad. No takers in a week and then I'll just go Ebay, thought I'd give you all a first crack at this stuff.

Sorry bud, some of those prices are...a little high...first dibs on a $5 Hershey bar doesn't matter much when you can get one for 65 cents somewhere else. You'll have better luck on ebay.

My prices are set based on what it would take me to replace them (and anyone else for that matter). Yeah, you might get lucky on e-bay or some other auction, but these aren't just the garbage you'd find around at a garage sale, knockoffs that no one wants, or the reject collection cause I got something better. I've been particular about they're condition and storage, didn't lose track of their peices, and didn't play with them until they fell loose. This is my personal collection - and only those that I could bear to part with. I still have a whole tote that I've been torn over since I sorted through all of this.
If folks don't feel the price is fair, I wish them all the luck I would wish myself at finding TF's at a steal. These however aren't intended as such - just a great toy at a fair price.

I think you missed his point on pricing. I doubt anyone is making a comment about the quality of your toys but if you go to ebay and look for these figures in 'finshed' auctions you will find that most of them sell for half the price you're asking so to think that going to ebay with them will do you any better, you're mistaken. Good luck with your sales but the prices are high no matter how sentimental they are to you personally. I just checked ebay and the absolute highest Cybertron Megatron goes for mint out of box is about $58 shipped! as far as some of those figures you can't even give a lot of them away like most of the energon scouts go for like $3-5 at the most

What Lucs said (I like you, man!). Never questioned the pristine quality of your well-maintained collection. I was simply pointing out why you haven't had any offers yet. SOME of those toys are fairly priced at current market values. Others, well, not so much. Many people can walk to the local dollar store and get those Energon basics for $5 in sealed packaging, which even the greatest collector can only hope to aspire to with an open toy.
You're completely allowed to sell for whatever price you feel fits your needs. I was simply saying that unless you do a fair amount of research across numerous message board posts and auction sites on at least a semi-regular basis, you won't be able to know what a decent going-rate is. You can price at what you "feel" is appropriate, but unless that's on par with current going rates, you're probably not going to sell anything.
But I didn't type this to up your defenses. Just to make a point. Best of luck in your sales. I know it's a pain in the butt sometimes.

Yeah...i completely forgot about the big lot reissues. At that rate, I' think I'll just hold on to those then. No worries about me being defensive, i just wanted to say where i was coming from in my pricing. I admit, it's been years since I frequented the board on any sort of regular basis - and that means paying attention to where everything has been available. Thing to keep in mind on these prices is that I want to be reasonable. I'm open to offers if they are reasonable.

Re: Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Universe and RID for sale
It's cool! Best of luck with the sales. Just to save you the research time on loose toys, Armada toys tend to be selling fairly close to retail price, Energon common toys seem to be less than retail, but toys like Grimlock/Swoop and Wingsaber go for more, and Cybertron is weird. Cybertron basics and deluxes tend to hit less than retail (and barely seem to sell at all) while the Ultras and Megas (or Voyagers, or whatever they called them then) tend to vary by figure. Galvatron hit a huge spike a while back, while Leobreaker was hitting around $100 loose and has since settled back down to under $50. And store exclusives are definitely a bit higher for all three series. And leader size Primes from all three series seem to be selling fairly high MIB, and above retail loose.
But K-Mart Gold Armada Prime only sells for, like, $20. Seriously. *looks around suspiciously*
(Stupid K-mart Prime.)

Allow me to bump the post. I've had some time to let this sit and decided to let folks know these are still out there. Out of fairness - the original prices stand as a starting point, but I'm open to offers.
