Cyclonus is smaller than I thought, and Wheelie is larger than I thought.

Thanks for the pics.

Cyclonus fits in perfectly with the Classics/Titaniums.

Wheelie is a PERFECT fit with the MP line. I am eagerly awaiting an MP Grimlock so that I can throw Wheelie on top of him.

These were actually not that expensive when they first came out, like 80 bucks. I think about 2 months ago, a couple of dingdongs on ebay drove the bidding on a pair of these up to 450ish. Some people have more money than brains, lol.

Anyway, the price is settling down. Wheelie has been listed regularly on ebay recently for 125-150.

If I recall theres 78? of each of these so far.

Some criticisms: The alt modes on these are questionable. Wheelie, is way too blocky. Cyclonus is very loose in alt mode and kinda seems to fall apart. Maybe its just mine?

Heres a link to the guys website. Check out the amazing Powerglide and almost as impressive Octane.

That would be awesome.

Right. When I bought mine they were VERY cheap compared to the CRAZY prices they are demanding now. I say wait, as the guy cranks more of these out the price will come down.

Something like that, hes making them one at a time so they are coming along slowly.

I've heard that before too. Its strange, the joints on mine are tight almost too tight.

Hmm, its not a huge deal as I do not play with my figures. They are almost strictly always on display, and Cyclonus stands just fine. I am sincerely hoping he forgoes making anything else and jsut concentrates on all the minis as everyone of those would be a MP in its own right, scale and quality wise.

Were any of these figures released commercially? They don't seem to fit in any of the Transformers lines I know.

Congrats.

Very cool.

Not something I'd pick up personally, but I can appreciate the cool factor.

As a last resort I'd get that Cyclonus. But its unlikely that he's getting the modern treatment of Classics so i'll wait till he's cheaper.

In general, do these come assembled and painted? Or, are they kits? What is the plastic like?

Came assembled and painted already so I wouldn't know how hard the assembly process is. They came with a guarantee card as well and production number. $60 for Wheelie and $80 for Cyclonus.

Yeah, he makes them which is why they are so expensive.

Does anyone know what the plastic quality is like? Is it on par with the Classics? Or is it more like mocel quality?

Real thick, sturdy material. Not the same as Classics but just as sturdy.

Very cool. I envy you so much!
One question: How did you get these so cheap?? Did you get them through webshop, Wonderfest, eBay or JizaiToys?

There's a Wheelie and Cycolnus on ebay right now going for $700 for the both of them.
Cheapest I've seen them is $125 ea.

I bought them a while back when demand for them was about zero.
I bought them from a friend of mine overseas, he bought 2 sets from some guy he knew, kept one and sold me the other set. He bought them pre-assembled. The price he sold them to me for was only slightly higher than he bought them for, as far as he told me anyway.
I thought it was kinda high priced at the time, now look at the prices! :P
