Dancing like Chris Tucker in Rush Hour? Thanks for the great pics, Cyberpath! I am glad I got him. He's sitting in my POL at BBTS just waiting for Shockwave...

Wow Cyberpath! I never knew you were that good at doing figure photos! May I request a comparison? I'd love to see this guy in a group shot with CW UM, and Gen Springer and Arcee.
I have seen some comparison shots with these guys individually, but not all together yet.

I HIGHLY recommend Springer. He's in stock on BBTS. https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/pro ... ode=retail He is probably one of the top five Transformers voyagers period. He is extremely posable, and if you use the leg spoilers as heels, he's also extremely sturdy. He is perfect for photo-shoots. I can't say anything about UM since I don't have him yet either, but I am hoping to get him soon.

He's also still available on HLJ. But I'm trying to pace myself. I already feel like I'm getting carried away.

True, he wants a group shot though.william-james88 wrote:But you have arcee

This Springer is pretty damn close to Masterpiece. I didn't really like it either until I got it. I am so happy I did. He also looks amazing with CW Ultra Magnus and Gen Arcee.

Not to get too personal, but do you have sweaty hands? I've found chrome not to last very long against that.

Nope but after going to another site forum I see that this is very common. Someone even disassembled theirs and repainted them. And by looking at it now I see the paint is very thin. So it's a QC issue for sure. I'd probably do the same to mine at work.

Easiest question ever, MP 20 Wheeljack. No one can say that for a transforming toy, MP Rodimus is better.

They're both fantastic figures, so if you have to choose one go with whichever character you like more in the fiction, I think.

Don't know if this has been done before, since I remember somebody noting that the window/windshield looks like it was meant to be articulated.

I pushed out the window with great force and used a nailclipper on the window's tabs. Also clipped a fair bit near the hinge, but it still holds the shoulder pads nicely.

His ankles are particularly loose on my unit, causing him to fall forwards or backwards most of the time, so I dabbed a little nail polish to tighten things up.

Yep, mine had inconsistent chrome coating right out of the box. My guess is when the factory applied it they didn't bother to check the humidity levels (this has happened before - remember the first run of MP-12?)bigcee66 wrote:Man wtf?? One quick, lazy coat of good 'ol TS-13 top coat and it's sealed away real nicely.

If I am going to be able to get Grimlock, I either want Wheeljack to go with him, or to get Hot Rodimus to go with my Generations season 3 characters I am trying to complete. I guess I need Hot Rodimus more, but Wheeljack looks too damn awesome also.

Scotty, is that something you spray on, or brush? Mine is pretty consistent, but it wouldn't hurt to protect it.

I've been messing with Hot Rod a bit today, and I really enjoy it. That being said, if presented with a choice between Hot Rod and Wheeljack, I'd get Wheeljack ten times out of ten. Wheeljack is just on another higher level of greatness.SillySpringer wrote:If I am going to be able to get Grimlock, I either want Wheeljack to go with him, or to get Hot Rodimus to go with my Generations season 3 characters I am trying to complete. It's a spray can, available here but your local hobby shop may carry it as well. Not cheap and can be very tricky to use, but I think it's one of the best top coats out there. Of course, all top coating should be done carefully, as there are certainly times where it's better to avoid this particular type. Anyway, I'd run a search to find other posts about the stuff, as the peculiarities of it have been explained better elsewhere.Cobotron wrote:ScottyP wrote:One quick, lazy coat of good 'ol TS-13 top coat and it's sealed away real nicely.

It also gives me a +1 Snobbery stat each time I go through a half dozen cans. Suck it, SC Johnson corporation

Although I haven't obtained MP28, the easily chrome wears do concern me. Overall, I think he's look good but he will have to wait after I get the one eye Shockwave and Ratchet.

Each has their own charm. For a realtype vehicles, the Lancia Stratos give me the goosebumps just by looking at it.
Hotrod's concept design (supposedly from the Dome Zero) is also a sight to behold. If you can get passed the clearance issues of his right leg in car mode, also a worthy choice.
