personally i just think of the new blitzwing as small upgrade to the generation one figure they both have the same transforming capabiltiys tank on the bottom jet on top but yes i do agree he could have been made better i think they could have done better job on him in jet mode if they wanted to but the series is very basic looking in the show and so are figures to when it comes to transforming them.

This leads me to beleive there has to be a Leader class Lugnut sometime in the future. I mean, we have 2 autobot Leaders confirmed but only 1 decepticon.

Although it does seem like we're finally getting a line that's show accurate through and through. Leader Class Bulkhead, Voyager Optimus, Deluxe Ratchet, Prowl and Bumblebee are all proof that we might get a Leader Class Lugnut at some point, but how long must we wait?

Hard to say, I mean, we got a Leader class Brawl later on well get a Leader Lugnut, maybe in a wave 3 (if there is a wave 3?)

His tank and jet modes look like something out of Advance Wars.

Seriously badass looking. His tank mode his win, his bot mode (including head gimmick!) is win, and his jet mode is epic win.

To clear things up, he was incorrectly transformed in the auction before. His arms were folded above his legs as opposed to in between them.

I want to see an "underbelly" shot of him in jet mode to find out once and for all if there is a place to tuck those treads in.

I wasn't expecting the dial at the back of the helmet either. *nitpick* I wish it was elsewhere but I guess it had to go somewhere.

I rather think he does have the treads in jet mode. You have to bear in mind that they're not always going to draw in every detail, especially in quick shots.

In the more detailed drawings of the jet, you can usually see part of the treads.

Which leads to a problem for me. I want Lugnut, badly. But I won't spend the dough on this one if we're getting one that's show accurate (size wise).

I think a Leader class Lugnut is unlikely. I just don't think it would sell.

For the sake of scale, they should have gone with deluxe class for Blitzwing, but I reckon they knew Blitzwing would be a popular guy, so they went voyager.

O.k I'll byte they might be treads, however they blend better with the plane.

Still with the joints in the legs I'm sure its possible to put them in a less obvious position.

Even G1 Blitzy hid them better in jet mode.

I really wanted to like this figure, but the alt modes are just too "Chibi" for me, especially the cute chubby jet-on-tank-treads. I'm also confused about the size. It looks a lot smaller than I expected it to be.

He's one of the taller Voyagers thus far. As tall as Movie star Scream, and that's more than I can say for Lugnut or even Bulkhead.

What size did you want him to be Ultra? Supreme?
