I don't mind the mini-characters I tend to see them as just place holders - or he pre-release of a weapon accessory for a figure that has not been released yet.

Take Nightbeat if he got a slight remould/repaint of Chromedome say -I'd appreciate it if he head he had came with a less derpy expression then at least you have a choice.

Likewise if Grimlock ever got a Voyager (Tank or armoured car & Dino ideally). Then I would like him to come with an alternative head such as one of the kind with spikes or a grill with holes in it.

The little critters themselves would then be akin to Tyranitron the Actionmaster companion or a PCC Dinobot - just a little side kick character.

That they don't have the normal names is even an advantage there.

Beside if the possible rumour of a small role for the Dinobots in Transformers 5 is true then selling Titans Returns Dinobot Voyagers in 2017 would be a clever thing to do.

They won't have endless slots for that though as there has to be a place to shoe horn in Blitzwing and Octane too let alone possible repaints of G2 Optimus as Nemesis Prime or Alpha Trion as Leo Prime or Vector Prime.

I'd prefer not to have Vector Prime without extensive remoulds though as Alpha Trion's space ship mode is made of ugly. and Vector's original jet mode is quite lovely.

Yeah, JelZe was the first to comment on it back in April, but we've officially known since Cybertron Con two weeks ago.

Breakaway looks like he might have a Police deco on him - which if he does then I will be happy to consider him a new character instead.

But they might as well have made him Clampdown as Breakaway then.

If they then made Hosehead and Siren then there could be some clever stuff involved there - not only could you have a new trio with Nightbeat replaced by Breakaway all emergency themed but they could do other useful things with a fire truck mould too in the future.

If they made an Arcee mould that might be possible to use as a base for Minerva and then a male Siren could be made by Hasbro.

But a lot of people think Blurr is going to be retooled into Arcee.

I'm not a huge fan of incomplete teams though. I suppose if they made an off-road Buggy they could also use that for several characters too. heck it might even compensate for the missing CW team member or two Jaguer (or however you spell that).

There is no evidence pointing to that happeneing. Like RAR said, its just what fans are thinking, but there is no rumour about it. And that Blurr mold is already being used for another toy. I just dont want you getting your hopes up and nothign comes of this. I would suggest that if you want an Arcee toy, maybe look into getting the one we got in 2014.
