What do you think the chances of Henkei colored Thundercracker coming out in 2010
So with henkei colored dirge and thrust coming out this year, what do you think the chances are that hasbro will give us the thundercracker in henkei colors to complete our set of seekers.

We've been through this over and over! If you ask me the chances of a Generations Thundercracker are relatively slim:
1. The basic Seeker mold (not the conehead one) is too far gone to be really usable. Figures made from it, like Universe G1 Starscream tend to have very loose joints.
2. Even if Hasbro manages to squeeze a solid figure out of the mold, the deco has to be distinguishable between both BotCon 'Cracker and Henkei 'Cracker. Thrust and Dirge were easy because only their wings were different. Thundercracker will be a lot harder.

In the other thread I pointed out Fun Pub couldn't do a AM Thundercracker because the mold was "in use".
In use for Dirge? Maybe, but they could secure Ramjet, so I have my doubts.
So, to me anyway, that suggests that they're trying to milk another use out of that mold. Which suggests Thundercracker .... or hopefully Sunstorm. Or maybe another Starscream. Even if the joints are loose as all Hell.

Can we have a quote on that?

ya know i wouldnt mind if they did a thundercracker with a little different paint deco than the henkei and botcon versions, maybe something thats closer to classics skywarp and starscream. different wing deco, blue fins instead of black and a flat blue plastic instead of the metalic. small things like these can be the difference between him being doable or not

To be honest, I really don't see Hasbro doing it. It would be nice, but I have two Universe Starscreams and they are loose right out of the pack. not counting the third I gave away to my son when I bought it the first time. Mind you Universe Starcream came out months after Universe Acid Storm, which is as tight (well mine is) as Classics Starscream and Skywarp. Some people may differ, but my Acid Storm is very sturdy.
I dunno how many complaints have been raised about Henkei Skywarp and Thundercracker. I did not buy them when they were cheap because I did not want to buy Henkei Skywarp together with Henkie Thundercraker since I had Classics Skywarp. Classics Skywarp deco is superb to that of Classics Starscream because Classics Skywarp still resembles the G1 counterpart sans the lilac.
Now, I have Henkei Thundercracker, and I hate it. Yes I have him, but he's not well put together. The arm cannons fit loosely, and the right arm it won't even stay in. Mine is almost as loose as Universe Starscream. The bootom of the legs are showing uneven plastic. I hadto check for the Hsabro/Takara logo on it just to be sure I did not have a decent KO. Henkei Starscream had issues, but this just looks bad.
Sunstorm, maybe if Hasbro is planning it, but if the mold is in use best believe it will be loose. I just don't see it happening unless they use a lighter shade of blue reminiscent to the show or matching the Robotmasters version. Also no Decepticon symbols on the wings, and probably different wing deco design.
Let's face it, why is Thundercracker a tough subject, because it came out as a Botcon Exclusive. With the Coneheads, Dirge was just a repaint of Ramjet, so Henkei Dirge is like a different toy becuase of the wing modification. Thrust has differnet wings, so Henkei could modify them enough so they could be even more different.
So what can they do to Thundercracker to not set off those who spent $300+ for botcon, and $100+ for Henkei...new very anime-cartoon shade of blue. Match it just right. Put different decepticon symbols on the wings. Paint the chest area all blue as well as different paint apps for the arm cannons and legs. Ir's the only way. Plus they would really have to find a way to tighten the joints or he will be another floppy mess.
Who knows, we are now finding out about other toys being produced that we thought weren't coming out, maybe TC or another seeker is in the works....Rainmakers?

Seriously?
Did you not search and find a bunch of these topics already?
Or do you intend to start another BotCon Thundercracker debate?
