So i've been reading a bunch of comics lately and started wondering...

Deadpool VS Joker.

I know Deadpool's healing factor is the mitigating factor, so lets say deadpool pre-healing factor upgrade. not he doesn't have it but pre-super healing power up.

I personally think deadpool wins but it would be an awesome battle.

And I already know Merc's answer on this one but still wanna see his input

DP would also be without his insanity/humor, but he'd still be a pretty tough cookie. The Joker has some hand to hand combat skills but unless the Joker has a lot of thugs and traps he's doing down.

Go with the Joker hands down! Yes, Deadpool has better hand to hand skills, but Joker has a much better, eviler mind. Deadpool wouldn't be able to contend with whatever traps the Joker lays before him and would get distracted to easilly. As Deadpool was ripping apart henchmen, or trying get out of a trap the Joker would put a slug in his head or drop a vat of acid on him!

Joker wins hands down. Wade was dying of cancer before his healing factor. If Wade gets his healing factor then he wins, otherwise he can't win a fight against anyone. I don't mean that as a knock, because as he explained it before and again recently the healing factor was grafted to him to stave off his terminal inoperable cancer. It's literally eaten up his entire body. He should be dead by now and would be dead by now if not for his healing factor. Technically speaking Deadpool's in some kind of pain or discomfort every waking second of everyday and without his healing he'd be bed ridden and dying. That's why his healing factor isn't hax. I know I just shocked you but favoritism and like and dislike are irrelevant to debates.

Wolverine's been beaten multiple times by multiple people. So has Deadpool. Healing from wounds =/= unbeatable. All you have to do to beat them is incapacitate them in some way. The easiest way would be to drug them, or knock them unconscious. Which has happened a bunch of times.

well i've always heard he first he had NO healing factor, then he got a moderate healing factor, then he got a crazy "x-men 3 wolverine" style healing factor... his first healing factor wasn't epic or am i mistaken

its also been established that his healing factor is proportunate to his damage. cuts and scrapes don't trigger his healing as fast as a whole body explosion.

now what about his "cursed with life" thing. he isn't capable of dying. thanks to thanos something will inevitably happen to bring him back to life, right?

No he simply can't die at all due to Thanos. It's to ensure that Deadpool doesn't steal Death away from Thanos because the Mad Titan is in love with her, and Death had fallen for Deadpool.

In the new Deadpool series he says that his healing factor keeps his cancer in check because his body is constantly dying due to the Cancer cells. His healing factor has the same level of power creep that James and Victor have now (or Victor would if he weren't dead.

While you're right that minor injuries like small cuts and scrapes won't be healed as fast as blowing holes in his body, Joker's not someone who's going to **** around and sissy fight Deadpool, with or without the healing factor.

That's hard to say. It's a compound toxin, so I'm assuming it would work to a point, but wouldn't kill him. His healing factor and inability to die guarantees that much. I'd assume that it'd work for a bit until the healing factor kicked in to regenerate the damage the toxin's doing. Odds are though given Deadpool's very nature he's going to be very susceptible to Joker Venom. I mean he finds everything funny to a point.

The way Joker Toxin works is it contracts the muscles in your face (into a twisted grin) and your throat. It also makes you laugh uncontrollably. Most likely the actual cause of death with Joker Venom would be suffocation due to laughter. Ever laugh so hard you had to catch your breath? Sort of like that but on a do or die level.

but isn't that minor damage technically? his body wouldn't heal minor wounds quickly, even with healing factor

Doesn't sound like minor damage to me. Just because you don't see the effects of something doesn't make it minor. Asphyxia does major damage to your internal organs and fast.

Deadpool is biologically impossible so Joker wins by default. He's just a regular psycho with brain damage.
