Preordered him long ago without a doubt I wouldn't cancel it, and here I am still without a doubt.

While a few bits are a touch out place I like the colors. The overall palette is a touch bright from my vision of HOS bots, but otherwise I'm giddy all over. All I wonder about now is structural quality and how it holds up to use. If this guy nails that, I'll be first to pre-order the Cybertronian Bumblebee they mentioned when Mastermind was announced.

This thing looks fantastic...having a hard time jumping on the $85 price tag, though. It's about the size of an Alternator or voyager, is it not?

Whatever the case, at that price I think I'm gonna have to wait for a video review before pulling the trigger. I have a feeling it has a relatively simple transformation... At $85, it's gonna have to be awesome in every way. Then again, the resale value will probably hold if not skyrocket in the event I don't love it... Dammit! What to do?!?

Looks like Frenzy_Rumble got an older version of the mold. Notice the trailer: F_R's version is shorter and only has three wheels on each side, while the new one you see here is longer and has four wheels each side. I do see the old version had no 'grills' in the faceplate, which the new one does have (and which I also like). Perhaps the head mold was changed due to production issues? And I'm sure F_R's paintjob adds something extra too.

Ah, I see. That's a shame, actually, I think the older version's head mold looks way better, and the new one is one of the main things preventing me from really wanting this figure.

The deco from this sketch would be really good. Someone has any means to contact them to ask them for changements on the color scheme ? As all of us are asking for the same things, we sould write a mail and send it to them.

I've waited a long time for this one.

Not really loving the color scheme, but then Prime wouldn't be Prime if he weren't red, white/chrome, and blue.

Would have liked it a lot better if his fenders and "wheels" were chrome or at least colored silver instead of a totally unrealistic red.

Looks reasonably articulated. BTW, is it just me, or do his eyes give a furrowed expression, almost like he's depressed? Maybe it's because his brows give a slight impression of an inverted V.

Overall, I'm buying this if I ever see it in a store nearby.

I like the figure, I really do, but I just can't see myself parting with that kind of dough.

Plus, to me, the blue looks almost..purplish.

Oh, speaking of this...I think Ryan might want to have a talk with the folks running TFormers.

They not only stole the pics, they removed the Seibertron "watermark".

Unless you have some kind of specialty hobby store near you that carries this type of thing, that's highly unlikely to happen. It certainly won't be showing up at Target or Walmart anyhow.

I am totally excited about this figure. I have had him on pre-order for months and can't wait to get my hands on him.

Is it a bad that I am thinking about having my husband repaint him for me? Dirty him up some and make the grill and wheels black and gray, those kinds a things. :wink:

Not if he know's what he's doing... Your fig, do with it what you will. And even if he doesn't know what he's doing, just record it. I always thought those videos where dude stands in line for the highly anticipated game console (like PS3) on the release date where there's the huge line and not enough supply as there is demand, then dude gets his and intentionally destroys it in the parking lot and getting it all on tape are hilarious!

Actually, he does military models, and I dabble with vinyl kits, so hopefully this will turn out decent. I will keep pictures of the changes though.

Fortunately for me, there is a specialty hobby shop in my neighborhood that carries lots of Japan imports and other figures that most Walmarts and Targets would never dream of stocking!

There might be a possibility that I could find it there.

I happen to find that a lof of steam locomotives use red wheels, in fact I really like a red train with color matched wheels, it is kinda cool.
