Stan Bush's rock anthem "The Touch" from the original Transformers Movie, will be featured Sunday, March 28th, 2010 on AMERICAN DAD, which airs on Fox. "The Touch" recently out on Guitar Hero WT, was featured on CHUCK (NBC), in the film BOOGIE NIGHTS, in two Hasbro Transformers toys, and was just voted #1 Geek Anthem of All Time!

Normally, I thin kthe show is pretty stupid, but looks like I will be watching this episode. I love the tie-ins Family Guy and Robot Chicken do with Transformers, so Seth Green probably won't let me down this time either.
Side note, I loved the remake he did with Vince DiCola, and also bought GH World Tour just to download and play the song.

I love American Dad and I sure hope this will be used ironically like Stan beating the crap out of someone weaker than him.
But I really wonder why this song keeps coming up? I mean it's the worst song on the soundtrack and I'm getting kinda tiered of it being reused and redone and all, give me some Instruments of Destruction or Hunger for crying out loud.

well the song is used twice in the movie and once during the 3rd season so i guess it become some sorta theme for the series at that point. i agree it isnt that good a song, i always preferred Dare out of his two songs.

This song was actually pretty cool for the movie back in 1986 (although my personal favorite was the Weird Al song played during the planet of junk scene) But other than that one song, does Stan Bush have anything to do with the Transformers universe recently ??? I know he attends Botcons and is percieved as a hero to some Transformers fans. Just wondering...Im a hip hop fan so I wouldnt know
