Feeling smaller, punk? When Ironhide's good pal Ratchet got a new figure in the Deluxe Class, it was only time before Ironhide showed up as well. The movie-verse Gunslinger is getting a brand new figure in the smaller scale. We got a few looks at TF10, and thanks to Transformers Insider s250 and a Taobao auction, we get more glimpses of the figure. The new Ironhide looks to have abandoned his massive arsenal, instead for smaller scale articulation and playability. Check out the images below!

looks good for a deluxe! i liking his design. he still got his cannon on his right arm and based on the pics at the toy fair i think that drone attaches to his left arm. so still got some fire power! boom!

Deluxe Ironhide can SUCKIT! Fuh real. If there needs to be so many deluxes for an assortment, why not something new or different instead of a smaller Ironhide? I don't get why we needed a deluxe Ratchet either. They seem like a waste to me. How about something along the lines of the kind of quality figure Brawn turned out to be. I just don't get it.

Definate buy for me! He looks infinately more acurate! The voyager one was too thin, this one looks bulkier and even comes with the turrets from the ROTF game!

How many deluxe Bumblebees did we have to go through before we got ONE deluxe ironhide? I'm happy, although I think we should have gotten this figure either at the start of the ROTF line or perhaps even at the end of the first movie line.

I like him. Looks sturdier than the Voyager one, so I can let my son play with it. I'm a sucker though, so I'll probably just get him his own. I didn't need that $20 anyway....

Is there something specific you don't like? I admit he's far from perfect, but like I said: looks sturdy. Since I have a 3 year old 'sturdy' counts for more and more these days...

I really liked the Voyager version, but this smaller guy may have a place in with my "classics".

I've been looking for a decent Trailbreaker, and with a little work, this may fit the bill.

Weird, he looks good to me. Seems more design accurate than the past toys. Maybe it won't be as much of a mess as the voyager mold was.

Looks more like a grey to me...maybe it's flourescent lighting that gives it that hue.

I like the mold...chest is more accurate. My problem with the original Voyager was that the chest never really sat right. Also, if you compare this mold to the pose he strikes at the end of TF1, he is more of a body-builder shape than anything, with shorter arms and a wide torso. Gives him that bad-ass buffed up, I'm gonna pound you, look.

CAUSE RATCHET ND IRONHIDE ARE REALLY SMALL TO STARSCREAM IN THE GAME
SO THIS MAKES MORE SENSE

I HOPE THEY MAKE A GOOD VOYAGER PRIME TO GO WITH THESE DELUXES

it is definitely more movie accurate than the voyager. Like someone said, the Voyager class is too lean. Movie Ironhide is kinda short and stocky compared to Prime. I defintiley want to get this. Deluxe Ratchet was impressive to me so I think this also a win!


EDIT: I might try to buy this straight from China if it comes on auction.

Those that are complaining about scale, just get Voyager prime and Megatron and maybe the Fallen. That way you definitely have all the movie characters in scale. And if you don't like Voyager prime just wait for the newer mold that is coming out.

I think the Voyager looks better. Still haven't bought any verson of Movie Ironhide, but I hope if they do a G1 repaint, it's one of the Voyager versions.

This is a waste of time, IMO. The Voyager figure is really good, and it is hard to beat the 07 Premium Ironhide. I will stick with that.
