While I'm quite surprised they are repainting these so soon, the Destrons look very nice. And I just know the hunt for the minicons is going to be ravenous. Same minicon in 5 different color schemes.

Again, I love the 2-packs, so I will probably buy those. Highly doubt I will purchase the 5-packs. While I like the molds for Smolder and Huffer, those drones don't do it for me. I much prefer the translucent goodness of the Mini-Cons.

I'm not liking the 2 packs there at all. Which is ok, I'm enjoying the other versions anyway. Those decos just look bad to me. The 5 packs are looking snazzy though.

Okay... why the HECK didn't they just go ahead and call the Huffer repaint "Motormaster"? He's perfect for the role.

Maybe they lost the trademark? Remember the Titanium version? They couldn't name it Motormaster because of trademarking, so they named him Menasor instead. But when I get mine, however, I'm going to give him the right limbs and call 'em Motormaster.

Darkstream is cool cause now i dont have to buy A $20 set to get the mold and the Destrons look cool as well. plus the huffer mold is pretty awesome. The rest are passes for me. Hasbros getting lazy, the line just came out and already there are repaints on the horizon. So much for "we dont do repaints for the sake of repaints".

I have to admit, they look better in the box in person than I expected them to. It might be worth picking up that Destron repaint. However, I still think there's no excuse for the appendages looking that bad when they don't become little bots. It wasn't worth sacrificing articulation just to have the automorph arms and legs.

Crankcase (Destrons set) with Double Clutch's drones? Stunticons. They'd look great together. Heck, if the drones were G1 colored to match the original Stunticons, you'd have a near perfect set.

And I'd be interested in buying those.

And the people who guessed we'd be seeing different combinations of repaints of the combiner leaders as singles and singles as combiner bodies with different minicons and different combinations of drones are all vindicated for being right.

I'm amused Hasbro is going so far to keep tabs on names that they've used 'Destrons' in a US franchise.

That Huffer repaint actually looks like he'd be a half decent Motormaster...

Not anymore. Unfortunately, it was revealed at Botcon that TFP would not be debuting with The Hub, most likely. They said it could be two months after the network premieres, before the show does.

So? This is Wave 3.

Revenge of the Fallen had a remold/repaint in it's Preview Wave. Animated had repaints by Wave 3. Generations is going to have a remold by Wave 3, Hunt For The Decepticons are already littered with repaints in it's first waves. Get used to it.

Yeah, I agree with this.

I'll probably get all the 2-packs. I like the Armada-esque concept of a TF with a Minicon, but the 5-packs just aren't exciting me. The "drone" thing (lack of a robot mode) and the hideous gestalt arms are a turn-off for me.

I haven't purchased a single PCC yet, and already I'm getting bored with the line.

Like everyone, I kind of dig the Destron set, but that's about it from this series.

It IS nice of them to release the series 1 combiner commanders as singles though.
