From ToplessRobot.com:• "Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is marginally better than sh***ing your pants, but it takes a lot longer." Very well put.

It's similar to the original cartoon, but with a different audience in mind. The original cartoon was a kiddie cartoon. This'll probably be teen-oriented.

"Entertainment Rights (ER) has secured rights to the new Transformers animated television series from toy giant Hasbro, as well as agreeing a raft of international deals for its key properties following MipTV.
ER now has worldwide (excluding Latin America, North America and certain Asian territories) TV and video-on-demand distribution rights to Transformers (26x30') plus a 70-minute Transformers special. ER now represents four seasons of the show, totaling 154 episodes.
The new series has a good deal of talent onboard, including Sam Register, exec producer of Ben 10, Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi and Teen Titans; Vincent Aniceto, line producer (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Power Puff Girls); and Marty Isenberg, head writer (Danny Phantom, A.T.O.M., X-Men, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). In addition, Derrick Wyatt, character designer for smash hit Teen Titans, will take the role of lead designer.
The new 2D style that will be the show's trademark harks back to the original 20-year-old cartoon, but according to ER, the new Transformers has a different audience in mind." -C21 Media
I am so...

SO looking forward to Isenberg. I'm glad Hasbro finally realized the storyline isn't optional.

Yep, it will be full of teenage angst and BD love 'em and leave 'em storylines. Definitely worth being on ABC Family.

I'd love to see an updated G1. That'd mean toy rerelaeses, and more Classics style transformers.
I really need to see a picture of Prime or someone. And I need it quick!

Considering that they will more than likely trying to be following up on the success (hopeful) and hoopla surrounding the movie, which is PG-13, this would be a logical conclusion, since X-Men Evolution (one of the shows mentioned) was trying to do the same after the first film.
Another thing to keep in mind is that a lot of these animation studios handle a diversity of shows. I'm a huge Batman the Animated Series fan, and the guys who had worked on that were all involved in various kiddie fare during the 70s and 80s. It just took the right person overseeing production.

Which means Prime will end up being the equivalent of an angst ridden emo kid who's mad at Megatron for making him cry. Ugh, the more I think of it, the more I can't help but feeling like it's gonna suck. I mean Teen Titans was cool, but that animation style won't translate well to TFs, imho. And towards the end of TTs run, it started to get bad. And asides from TMNT, TT, and Powerpuff Girls, those shows reak worse than skunk roadkill. I'm tryin' to optimistic about the new cartoon, but all this is killin' it for me. Maybe my tune will change when I see some character designs.

Prime will be a teen.
One or more of the Transformers will have boyfriend/girlfriends.
The Transformers will talk in American teen slang.

brrr,
I do hope the new show will be more like GANTZ realy brutal, cool and full of action, dreams such a wonderfull thing. Well as long as ther aren't anymor Minicons and keys it's an improvment. Wait girlfriends? Kiss Players? If it is aiming for teens could that be the new gimic?
