That along with most of the other exclusives are simply wonderful looking. Oh wait we aren't in the Shattered glass universe anymore? Oh then I'll say my opinion of it in the normal-verse: They purely suck. And an update of Treadshot as a car? Please! At least update him as a tank!!!

I hate this mold so I really can't objectivity say what I think of this fig. But you could take the extra head from the Maketoys Tanker set and fix that, anyhow...

i'm not a big fan of the whole shattered glass concept.. i think i would've preferred to see some more G2 homages.

also.. hasbro LOVES repaints.. so.. WHY IN THE HELL HAVE WE NOT GOTTEN A SCOURGE REPAINT OF THIS MOLD.. it makes no sense. hasbro will give us tons of BS repaints yet they'll skip on the ones that we really want. for instance.. the terradive could've been repainted a few times.. maybe as a 3 figure box set repainted as starscream, skywarp, and thundercracker.. they could've done another wreck gar repaint.. they could've repainted perceptor as soundwave. sure some of those would've required remolding heads.. but still i'd take those over the hundreds of bumblebee repaints. sorry, rant over.

From what I understand, there is a possibility you will see the RTS Perceptor mold used in a mass/store release this year. But it won't be Soundwave.

I didn't care for RtS G2 Prime, but I kinda like this one. That's my favorite color, even if there's too much of it. So far Treadshot, Soundwave, Metalhawk and this figure from the set are acceptable. The others? Not so much.

Not bad. Color scheme spot on for powered convoy and slowly warming up to the head. Hmmmm.

Not a big fan of the head sculpt, so I may have found a use for the extra Optimus head I have from the Battle Tanker set.

I don't know if I'm looking at it correctly, but his head sort of seems like a mix of Movieverse Megs and Optimus (Megs wearing an Optimus helmet, basically). Doesn't look that skullish.

The colors for a lot of these Botcon figures look garish. Like they're over-saturated or using too much of too few colors or something.

And meanwhile, a telephone at a rings at a Chinese toy factory. It's Maketoys calling, telling the factory manager to bust out the Battle Tanker molds and the ugliest blue paint he can find.

That's what I'm thinking. It looks almost feline in the mouth portion. I can't really tell what I'm supposed to be seeing though.

There's probably a dirty joke in there somewhere.

Seriously though, when I heard they were using that mold for Magnus I was less than impressed but for some reason I like the way it came out.

Wow. It just dawned on me what would make me happy.... If Botcon included the other Prime head as an 'accessory'. So you could trick it out as either SG Magnus, or Diaclone Convoy. (From what I've seen in the custom classes, the molds press both heads at once, and the second head is discarded depending on which toy is intended.) Sad it's probably too late to suggest this for this year's toy.

So far Road Rage is the best figure.

Treadshot would have been nicer and more useful in "Dead End" colors.

Gigatron/Overlord looks good but is screaming Bludgon.

Metalhawk has a ken doll head.

Ultra Magnus looks like Kurt Angles body suit.

Soundwave belongs in Dairycon with some bull horns to go with his headband.

I think so too, especially with the comment on "Megatron wearing an Optimus helmet".

Back to the figure itself, I love it. Then again, I've always had a thing for blue. I guess I should be thankful with all the people complaining, better chance for me to score a set
