I'm confused with these.
Are they 100% new molds?
Are they the first release molds with minor retooled parts?
Honestly,I don't like that much clear translucent parts on my TF toy in the over excess. this is why beastmachines is my most loathed TF toy line thus far. I don't mind clear translucent parts being used for vechicle parts like windshields,light. I also don't mind clear translucent missles & eyes. I DON'T LIKE CLEAR TRANSLUCENT BODY PARTS/LIMBS ON A ROBOT MODE.
I don't like annoying kiddie lights & sounds included in my smaller voyager sized TF toys. because These toys are hard to clean after they've been on display shelves for a while. I like to wash off my TF toys under a sink/bath tub to get rid of excess dust every now & then.
If these are 100% new molds,I don't like it. I would have rather the toy budget money,resources,etc.. be spent on creating other TF Prime character molds. I would have even preferred non-cartoon TF Prime characters get TF Prime toys.
SO ARE WE GONNA SEE TF PRIME BUMBLEBEE AS A LEADER SIZED OR SUPREME TOY STEALING THE OBVIOUS MORE DESIRED TOY SLOTS AWAY FROM TF PRIME ROCK LORD PLANET/BOT UNICRON. Because i'd rather see a supreme sized OR LEADER SIZED TF prime unicron toy. then a over sized TF Prime bumblebee toy.
SORRY,I don't like nor enjoy. When hasbro takes optimus,bumblebee,starscream & realeases them in 10 different size levels,keeps creating newer mold designs based off their cartoon/movie animated designs.
I can only imagine that were gonna see the following happen in the TF Prime toy line. Optimus prime,bumblebee & starscream get legends sized toys,basic activators,deluxes,voyagers,optimus might get a leader sized toy. bumblebee might get a leader size & supreme sized toy. LIKE THIS THREAD SEEMS TO INDICATE,we'll be getting the same designs in constant re-imagined toy form based off the cartoon designs.
I miss the beastwars,beastmachines,rid & AEC TF toy lines. because they focused on doing about 25+ characters & giving them toys. ever since the movie verse & animated happened it seems to be only 10 characters per toy line getting about 5 different sized toys each per toy line. SORRY,I don't need every TF cartoon character in every size scale because this clearly wastes toy slots & prevents newer characters/designs from getting created.
Personally,If hasbro wants to give us 5 different molds for optimus,5 differenrt toy mold for bumblebee,4 different new mold for starscream per TF toy line. Then I'd prefer the BW/BM AEC route where we get UPGRADED new molds. that have a entirely radically different design not re-imagined toy designs based off the SAME OLD BORING cartoon/movie media design.
Examples of upgraded TF toys: (1) BW 1996 cheetor,got his upgraded TM1 toy,then his upgraded TM2 toy. (2)Cybertron Hotshot,red alert & scattershot having their first regular forms,then getting upgraded DEFENSE forms. that looked radically different in designs both the media & toy form. (3)Cybertron toy line overhaul having his first toy/media form. then getting upgraded into a beast planet leobreaker toy/media form.
I would prefer TF Prime's optimus prime & megatron. keep getting newer upgraded animated cartoon designs that translate into upgraded newer designed toys. examples: TF Prime Megatron getting rebuilt into a form that looks like 1986 galvatron. TF Prime megatron getting upgraded into that season 4 animated leader sized maruader megatron toy. Optimus prime getting rebuilt into a tripple changer leader sized toy that is a tank,truck cab & robot mode. TF prime starscream being upgraded into a stealth bomber long jet mode with tons of big weapons/guns.
All these reimagined toys based off the same old boring cartoon/movie media designs do nothing for me. examples: all those deluxe movie verse bumblebee toys. movie verse barricade getting all those toys based off the same exact movie media CGI design.
