There's a difference between deteriorated, broken and lost. The G1 Constructicon molds were merely lost, like the G1 Dinobot ones. Now, G1 Wheeljack is confirmed broken, so no chance of reissues there. And we all know full well what deteriorated means

In the case of Classics Voyager Optimus Prime, either the SG or the Universe Nemesis Prime release has alignment issues, a common symptom of mold deterioration.

^ Nope, you're not the only one. I use him for Hot Rod and original Classics Roddy wears the armor.

lol, okay. It's not beyond their abilities to re-tool it to fix the issues or simply do a new cast, so it's still a weak excuse from HasTak. I guess it shuts up most of the people whining for 'x' figure, so it works for them.

O, trust me it isn't beyond their abilities at all. It's just very costly. It's like needing paying twice for the same mold in order to use it again, that can be a pretty expensive joke. Then you may as well start from scratch.

I guess so. I would've thought that modern advances make the process cheaper, but probably not. Oh well, we just have to live with the fact that G1 Wheeljack will probably never see the light of day again unless Takara goes crazy or somehthing.

Had the preorder for it for the longest time. Cancelled closer to release due to the over-spray on the face and imperfections on the door panels. But the gimmick of the packagin sticker... "limited release" and the elitist in me slapped it back into the POL.

I just don't want to be kicking myself once the 3P's start thinkin of things to do with that targetmaster peg.

Though it seems I'm building an autobot seeker army, I never thought I'd buy this many of them. In any case, I'll find a use for it. It's an OG Classics mold after all.

Takara is doing some official targetmasters again. Seems they're going to fill that hole with some love of their own.

The purchase is becoming a more and more likely scenario for me.
