Youtube member masainjapan2008 has posted a Japanese commercial video clip for the Takara Tomy version of upcoming Transformers Prime figures - AM-01 to AM-06.
The Japanese version of Transformers Prime (same series as Hasbro's Robot In Disguise) features "Arm Micron", where the weapons are able to transform into mini robots.
AM-01 to AM-06 are schedule to be released in the month of March 2012.

It's pretty wacky how that Deluxe-sized Megatron looks just as big as that Voyager-sized Optimus in this ad:

The arms microns are really cool, but I'm outright LOVING Takara's Megatron. If that's a downgrade in paint, then they chose some kick ass plastics.

Is it the same paint scheme as the Takara First Edition version?
Or exactly the same as the entertainment pack? The FE was a nice shiny one wasn't it.

One thing this really does show is how cheap the added stickers actually look compared to paint. I didn't think the cost-cutting would hit Takara so hard, but it appears it is. Not really worth the import price, IMO.

That's the deluxe Megatron. And from what I see there's barely any paint changes and no there's no upsizing. The reason why those two look like the same size is because of two reason :-
1) Optimus knee is bended. That mean his original height is reduced.
2) Megs body is bended backward giving the illusion that he's bigger. It's kinda weird how they pose him like that lol.
But wow seriously!? 6 minutes commercial O.O!? Damn if it were me I would change the channel every single time this commercial appeared lol xD.

The TakaraTomy YouTube channel has uploaded another commercial for their upcoming Transformers Prime Arms Micron toy line. how can they be serious about a fight between prime and megatron when prime is a voyager and megatron is a deluxe?.. that's a little stupid if you ask me. they should've released a voyager megatron. they could've done wonders with that thing. oh well.
that aside.. i love the commercial. hasbro should do this type of stuff. transformers are PERFECT for stop motion videos. they should hire patrick boivin to do their toy commercials.
