B. A generalization that Transformers collecting is starting to become “cool” to society in general.

How about C. 1,000 new Transformers fans and this debate is silly. Dude, you're a geek. We all are and there's nothing wrong with it. Even cool people like yourself can be geeks. No big deal.

(sticks head up from behind cover)

Do cool people go to Wrestlemania? :HEADHURTS:

(ducks back into cover)

If you saw some of the women that was out there, you might edit youre comment. =P~

Botcon brings in between 3000-5000 people from across the country. Wrestlemania brings in between 75,000-90,000. You do the math. Trust me, Miami was the place to be last weekend.

Though, on a related note, the term I prefer to label myself would be "aficionado". ;)

On a different note, Anyone got any estimation as to when these shirts start shipping?

I think once your collection takes up more than a single shelf, not to mention if you regularly frequent a site dedicated to toys, you're offcially a geek. You might not present yourself as the stereotypical geek. (I don't think I do...I usually get the 'are you in a band?' question,) but make no mistake, you have a geek side to you.

There should be degrees then based on the number of shelves (or rooms) your collection takes up. Personally, I'm at 5 bookshelves, an entertainment center, a bar, and 8 of those plastic drawer things.

I think the site said the shirts are printed after ordered and will be shipped within two weeks.

I'm at a 15x15 basement and a 10x10 storage unit. ;)

Sure, we could do that. ;) But the point I was getting at is, even if TFs happened to be considered trendy or hip, once you get past about shelf full or so, you can't really hide behind the notion that you're some sort of hipster with a casual TF collection. You've now graduated to official geek status...

My wife was making fun of some dude one of her co-workers was dating for doing some lame treasure hunting game of some sort and how dorky it was...the co-worker came back at her with the fact that her husband has a room full of Transformers. What more could my wife say?

Aye, just got mine as well. Talk about fast, I was expecting it to be at least 2 weeks before it shipped, what with the order volume I imagine they received and all. My guess is these folks have been making a lot of coffee :D
