I've been mostly adamant about not buying non-show characters so far. After IDW's take on G1 Swerve, this may change.

I know of an IDW comic for Prime. Does Swerve make an appearance in it? Hot Shot?

Nope.



Can't wait for the Jet Vehicon to come out, gonna try to get two or three of it, along with two or three of its car brethren. Hoping for Decepticon Miners to come out, as well!

Nope.

Nor do Ironhide, Kup, Rumble, or Dead End. If Hot Shot, Ironhide, and Rumble make it into the show, I'll buy them, but for now I'm passing.

I should be very excited that Takara will be releasing the voyager Megatron, but given the "key features" of the Arms Micron line I'm really not. I wonder what Micron he'll come with. Seeing as the deluxe version came with Megatron's signature weapon I don't imagine Takara will repeat its presence with the larger figure.

I'd like to think it'd be a Micron who transforms into a spiked-mace, but given Takara's recent lunacy I'd say it'll likely be a pair of sandals.

I was right to trust that Takara would bring Voyager Megatron, good thing I hold out on buying Hasbro's. But I'm quite surprised that they have a repaint(Swerve) so fast and it's back to back, just 3 figures apart. I have more faith in Takara anyways, especially after the DOTM incident, Hasbro really failed.

Except that ,this time, Hasbro's toys will have the better paint apps (by simply HAVING paint apps).

Yea you're right about that, but for me I really wanted the Arms Microns. And the stickers are not that bad after trying them (of course I prefer paint apps!).

I find it comical that Prime's parent toyline, Animated, featured a vast cast and there weren't enough toys to cover the cast. With Prime it's the complete opposite, despite having two molds for the main cast of characters.

Show's not over yet, nor is the killing spree. I don't know if we'll see a toy for every character. Or, if we do, we'll have to pay exorbitant prices and jump through hoops to get what we need.

I was willing to buy the Deluxes of Prime and Megatron for the human trio. I'm not willing to do the same for Silas and his henchman, no matter how much I want them in my collection. I won't be stuck with two Starscreams and two Bumblebees, no matter how awesome the molds are.

It's costly and it's a storage pain.
