If you want to meet him/get an autograph be willing to sit. Yes, it may take hours of waiting, but it you REALLY want it then you will WAIT. This is going to cause more issues then before. People who don’t want to meet him/get an autograph are taking away from people that do because it is nontransferable. I am about done with Botcon, and think smaller conventions is where it is at. Plus if you got a "Golden Ticket," for the $300 extra that should make a person a little higher up then a walk in off the street. It is all about money, and not the collector anymore...it is a real shame.
This....I've never waited in line fore autographs before because it's not my thing...usually I'm the one entertaining people in line, LOL.
But yeah, I'd personally feel bad if my name was drawn because that's one less person who gets the autograph. I'll try and remember to bring my WfC poster or something...Lord knows I keep forgetting to even just get the game cover signed, despite bringing it the past two years AND the HMS guys being available pretty much anytime the dealer hall was open.... hah.
But yeah, sorry to the folks who wait for this sort of stuff.
REALLY stinks that it's non-transferrable.
