Has anyone noticed that Fireflight has what looks like a combiner port on top of his vehicle mode? Maybe they're releasing a Superion.

I really like Magnus and Kickback ... but they won't replace their Fansproject counterparts in my collection. I'll get 'em just to have because they're cool.

Can't have too many insecticons. They are a plague. And that Magnus is pretty great for the character. Didn't work as well for prime.

First off, where? Second, I doubt that they'd use Shockwave's mold as a bit of Superion.

I see what he means...there's a socket on the golden part about halfway down the vehicle mold which ISN'T there on Shockwave.

I can see Hasbro leaving a combination socket just in case they decide to release the others...or so that it can Scramble City onto Bruticus.

Oh, both are fantastic. No question.

But FP matches his other two brethren (if there were all three Insecticons .... I'd have a tougher choice). Plus FP is closer to the old G1 look that I like.

As for Magnus, people who couldn't afford City Commander finally have a great alternative. I mean, he looks sweet. BUT CC is pretty much everything I've ever wanted in Magnus. White Prime? Check. Armor donning? Check. Badass? Double check. Plus I sprung for the iGear, Perfect Effect and (just two days ago) Dr. Wu upgrade sets. A new Magnus would have to be made of platinum to get me to switch it out at this point.

But I'm still down for getting both. Make no mistake, I'm not knocking the official stuff here.

Oh! I thought that was where the 'wing' part of the sword pegged in, but now I see it's on the wrong side completely for that! Also, are there any pictures showing off a similar port on the elements of Bruticus?

Maybe we're also taking into consideration all the moving limbs that will allow it to be posed well.

Exactly. All of the current pictures look mistransformed. I'm sure once we have it in-hand, it'll look much cleaner in the altmode.
