People nitpick on the TCC all the time for their mold and character choices, but if there is one area where they legitimately have fallen short, it has been with G1 molds.
EHobby has knocked those out of the park, let's see if this partnership helps that.

Hopefully this will also mean increased availability and decreased import fees of club figures in Japan and e-hobby figures in the States!
Decreased import costs would be nice, but my gut feeling is that we won't see that.

The first offering from the
recently announced e-Hobby/TFCC collaboration will a limited amount of the BotCon 2012 "Invasion" box sets.
e-Hobby will be offering 150 of these sets (one per customer) for ¥ 35,900. Hopefully this partnership will also result in some of those popular Japanese exclusives coming our way via TFCC.

As cool a start as this is, I cannot help but feel that The Club just gave their leftovers to eHobby and said "Here, you sell them"
I'm hoping for good things to come from this deal.

I still want one... But at least the Japanese will have a cheaper way to getting one.
Top 5 Priorities:
1) BW Neo X-7 Elphaorpha
2) BW II VS-18 Powerhug vs. Autocrusher
3) Universe 2003 Night Slash Cheetor
4) RiD Landfill (regular, not the yellow)
5) BW Convobat (red) & Megalligator (purple)
Also looking for any clear Arms Microns, like Shadow (Gora & R.A.), Hellflame and Shining (O.P. and R.A.).
Preparing to move to the US!- JelZe GoldRabbit =:3

yeah, i suspected that there would be a lot of these sets left over and this feels like tfcc's way of getting rid of them...japan, beware of exclusive bad repaints!!!!

So it looks like this partnership is basically just that they sell each-others leftover stock.
Which means everything stays the same for non US/ Japan fans. Just that getting e-hobby figures will become more complicated and crappy for US collectors while Japanese collectors can get Botcon stuff cheaper and easier than before.
Oh well.

I don't think it's fair to jump to such conclusions at this stage.

Why not, FunPub haven't got a very good track record as it stands, and this is the first thing that comes from this "amazing" partnership, the leftovers of one of their exclusive sets through e-Hobby?
I'll say something nice about FunPub when they actually deserve it and not out of goodwill and wishful thinking.
