Did get a G2 Bruticus. Not surprised it went quickly, but I still find it pretty weird if that makes sense. Does Amazon restrict quantities? I'm sure some stores jumped on that...

Would love to get Jetwing Prime, but I'll skip it. Not a huge movie fan - just like the guns.

Let's see how SDCC shapes up. Zomblejumper first; Bruticus second.

I am starting to really dislike amazon exclusives.... every time I see one I want they sell out almost instantly, and my life does not allow me the ability to watch the site like a hawk in case a new exclusive comes out. I did that with unicron and still wasn't quick enough! Then it seems like some of those who got their pre order turn around and scalp it.

No. Everything about this just screams "AMERICA F@#K YEAH!!!" This is a middle finger (and two arm mounted mini-guns) to every real TF fan. I can't spew enough Bay hate to wipe clean the flames off Optimus and the botched abortion that they call "Jetfire."
I mean seriously- look at this figure. It's a punchline to a bad joke.

haha- You're right. At first glance I thought it was the Jetfire/Optimus combo. I went into a caffeine fueled,beast mode of Bay hate. Still my original opinion stands. It's garbage and has no place on my shelf.

been wanting this jet wing figure for a long time. finally now it can be bought for a reasonable price and with free shipping. i preordered as soon as i saw this.

now they need to get striker optimus here in the states also.

Had both of these pre-ordered at 10am EST this morning. I have had D-28 Striker since it was 1st released, and I have wanted Jetwing Prime for a while, but it was too much until now.... :KREMZEEK:

As for the FOC Bruticus, I am planning to get the regular set too, but this was too good a deal to pass up. Even without actual photos. We all know what each figure looks like by now and as for G2 colors we all know those too.

Hasbro has really been surprising me recently with what seems to be a little more fan and collector focus this year. Please keep it up.

I agree with you on the fact that Amazon exclusives sell out fast. It's because so many people have accounts with them and so many people shop on Amazon.
When Unicron came out it was mayhem to say the least. I can't remember exactly, but it sold out several times, and I don't remember it even being offered for per-order either.
I did finally get him the morning of the 2nd day of his release, and he finally sold out that day.

I got lucky this morning as I check the TF news and forums each morning before I get ready for work. When I saw the post, i knew it was going to go fast, so i jumped on it. Seems most of the good news happens in the morning or late in the evening.

I hope you get yours man. I can't stand the scalpers either, but everyone these days is trying to make a buck anyway they can. It's the darker side of our hobby. Demand = Scalpers.

Funny thing that the origin of the G2 bruticus picture states "On shelf OCT 2012"... So, is this an Asian exclusive, and distributed in the US only through Amazon?

I tried to jump on the Bruticus since about a half an hour after it was first posted but every single time I go to it there is no photo, price, and the item is no longer available. Then I keep reading about other people who ordered it successfully after all the times it's told me their not the droids I'm looking for. What the hell is going on? :BOOM:

EDIT: Searching "G2 Bruticus" gets no hits and "Transformers Bruticus" has everything but this thing. Seriously, an Urban Fiction book and Predaking come up but not this FoC Bruticus!

I wonder if it's just going to be a repackage of the Japanese Jetwing Prime or if there will be any plastic color or paint variations. >:oP

Huzzah!!

I've been wanting JW Prime for a very long time, but the $200.00 and up price tag was always a bit daunting. I set up my pre-order on the night this posting came out since $104.00 with free shipping is MUCH easier on the pocketbook. Once again I'm glad I waited!

I wonder when it will actually be ready to ship? :???:
