Interesting, especially since they decided to use Energon Optimus Prime. Hey, isn't it Energon's 10th Anniversary next year?

I wonder if they'll continue this every year, or at least cover the "cool" animal years. Looks like there's a pattern of Optimus Prime + something that combines with him (Dragon had the trailer, Snake has Omega and the drone things).
Probably wont get these, but I'd like to see what they end up looking like.

Courtesy of ACToys.net we have very interesting information on a pair of exclusives for the Asian Market in 2013. To celebrate the Year of the Snake in February 2012, Hasbro/Takara will release Energon Optimus Prime and Energon Omega Supreme in Year of the Snake decos. No word on the pricing or the actuality of the release of these two figures, so take it with a grain of salt.

I realized why they might've picked the Energon Omega Supreme mold. His super train mode is long and snake-like. They might even paint a snake head on the end of it.
