In what colors? The image is in black and white. I am assuming, on purpose. I doubt the original decos are what's coming. Kinda shocked that these would ever be revisited. I was just thinking the other day how Omega Supreme in a G1 deco would look nice. Maybe remold the boat hand for a sort of rocket. That would be great! The Prime would have to blow me out of the water to buy that one again though.

There was an unreleased black and white deco Optimus during Energon. People liked the uniform color scheme, rather than the mix of colors the original had. It never made it to store shelves.

Seeing the pics, I figured it was safe to assume that the figures would be black and white, like the unreleased version. I mean, the page itself is colored, so why on Earth would the pics be black and white unless the toys were? It's not an unreasonable leap.

To me, it looks like someone took promo shots of Energon Prime and Omega Supreme, switched the image colour to greyscale and sent it in a solicitation. Taking a close look, there's very little uniformity about the shades in either of those pictures. Prime's drones are all different shades instead of uniformity.

This could mean three things:
1) They don't want to reveal the colourscheme yet (most probable IMO)
2) They dont know/haven't agreed on a colourscheme yet
3) It is going to be monochromatic in colour but the marketing shots aren't ready yet.

Prime is a mediocre mold, don't get me wrong... But I have a soft spot for most of Energon.

Transformers no matter the series has a problem with scale but Energon seemed like it threw it out the window the most. The combined mode looks awesome but omega supreme and prime? Same with megatron and tidal wave.

Wow, never thought I'd see an Energon Prime recolour.
He is the most G1 ish in transformation, still has flaws (a lot).
I already have 2 Energon Omega's, Supreme Takara version and Sentinel. And they're staying all the way
If the colors are interestingly perhaps I'll hunt for it online. But if it costs like 200 incl. transport meh.

Well, you learn something new every day! I have seen the Energon Omega Supreme before and kinda like his general appearance but Energon Prime is pretty odd looking, but I never knew they combined to form a chunky Optimus Supreme!!

This form makes me appreciate E Prime a little better, but only combined.
It will be interesting to see the new redecos but I doubt we'll see them combined until they are in-hand?

Im off to look around the toy galleries to see what else Ive missed out on over the last umpteen years!!!

Asian. Hasbro releases them. I'm sure they will end up going over to the US too, like the current deluxe (Springger, Wheelie...) and voyagers (Hotspot, Megatron...). I have no idea what GDO stands for...

I hope Omega gets a G1 paintjob... No interest in Prime though, I hate that mold.

Well, since the basic mold is gone, all we have is Transmetal and Beast Machines. I don't care which one, for I'm a rat in Chinese Astrology.

I like the Transmetal. I suppose Omega's alt mode is vaguely snake-like. Lord knows Optimus Prime's movie-look with the trailer wasn't very dragon-like. Year Of The Rat could just be a redeco of Starscream or something. Or...A blue Universe 2.0 Powerglide, because it's a RATtler.

Courtesy of HK-TF we get our first color image of the recently discovered "Year of the Snake" reissue of Energon Omega Supreme. The image, which appears to come from a solicitation, looks to be the same as the original release. Though this could just be a placeholder image, time will tell. Check him out below.
