Thanks to the Autobase Aichi facebook page we have some in-hand images of Takara Tomy's Transformers Prime Toys"R"Us Japan Exclusive Battle Shield Optimus Prime. This figure is a redeco of AM-01 with redecos of AMW-07 Pral, AMW-08 Sais, and AMW-09 Jayz that combine to form the Battle Shield. The set also features a cardboard trailer that's capable of hauling a Deluxe sized car and mounting the various Arms Microns.

Wait a tick... I thought Arms Micron Optimus Prime didn't come with a sword? Yet the Battle Shield release seems to have one. Perfect!

This Prime don't look bad though his forearms are still transparent they look way better than that blue crap! Now I must hold fast for the release of Arms Master OP and decide between the 2 and I hope it's not just Weaponizer Prime with microns.

If I did get this Prime I'm definitely trading the shield microns for better microns IMO!

the AMicrons are the best part of this
really liking the directions these little guys are going as supplements for the larger toys
hopefully Hasbro steps up there game, like the single pack Kreons, and starts putting out some AMs domestically

Okay after looking at the video review of said OP I can say without doubt "I'm sold" on this. The pics just were not enough for me to decide on getting at least 1 OP from the Prime/AM line. The only minor flaws IMO are the translucent parts, I feel they could have gone a bit darker and the possible stress marks shown in the video. No offence to the reviewer but I hope it was just his misfortune and not the world like AM-Breakdown and the mark on his chest...'nuff said!
