I believe the new Autobot could be Jack's partner while the swords show in the promo could be the legendary weapons.

I concur with XDMan; the swords could be the legendary weapons while the new 'bot is Jack's partner. But the debate is what and who specifically (Although for all we know, the sword could be Vector Prime's just like in Cybertron)

I don't think Jack is getting paired off with the new guy permanently, I'm thinking it's just for this episode. Kinda show the new guy the ropes, introduce a little character building while Arcee is dealing with the hangover from the previous flashback episode.

I wonder if the sword optimus has is the star saber? Surely they are not gonna go that route with the star saber, skyboom shield, and Requiem Blaster from Armada. But that would fit into the relic stuff they been doing and could play on those for a while with them constantly changing possession of them till Megs finally get all three and tries to blow the Earth up or something.

Or maybe the white car we have seen in the promo images is Drift and he has lost his sword on Earth and optimus finds it. In the comics the faction that reformatted Drift when he was damaged gave him a sword which was legendary for tapping into the spark of the person using it to give them more power.

Hmmm... Sounds like, to me, that Jack's role within the Autobot faction has gone up a notch ever since he was given that "honorary Prime" role.

Well, seeing how Jack was made an honorary Prime in the beginning of season 2, it is easy to assume that he is being partnered up with the new member of the team. Namely one that requires somebody mature enough to show him (or her) the ropes on Earth.

Besides... Miko said that she would never leave Bulkhead. That, and since she is 15, she is not at the age where she can drive a motorcycle.

The writers have stated that no one is safe from death in this show. You don't know who's going to die next. By the end of Season 3 the only original Autobot left could be Optimus for all we know.

Yeah... And that is writer's lingo for "We can kill off any character we want, just not the ones that Hasbro want to keep alive for marketing reasons."

It's kind of like NCIS, which disposed of two major characters before replacing them with others, disposing of a recurring character, and might be removing another main character (which is highly unlikely). So when it comes to this series, they will only dispose of characters tied to voice actors that do not (or are not allowed to) renew their contracts, much less willing to do such as said character.

And besides... Arcee was the one who had technically gotten revenge for Break Down. So you should be grateful for that.

I really hope it's not the Star Saber becuase the swords seen the promo look way too small. The Star Saber needs to be as big as (if not bigger than) the Forge of Solus Prime, since the Star Saber is not merely an Iacon Relic but an Artifact of the Primes.

I personally do not care which Autobots or Decepticons die, but it's how they die that matters. The fact that Breakdown was killed by Airachnid is the reason I wish he'd come back, aside from the part where he's my favorite character. Airachnid is as annoying as Miko was to me, and therefore did not deserve to die by the hands "of that retch."

Besides, not every character in the toyline's a big seller. They'd kill a character just like that once it doesn't sell. I have high doubts Arcee will be infected with Bumblebee cancer.

I am mixed on this myself. Because the true potential of a blade is not based on its size, but rather what it is capable of doing. However... I would have assumed that it was a broad sword-sized blade, based on the images I had seen tied to it.

I agree, but, I still think it would make sense for the sword to be proportionally to scale with Prima since all of the Thirteen are supposed to be really big guys. and if the size of Solus Prime's Forge was any indication, the Star Saber should be huge (while this sword here looks more like a regularly sized sword)

i think this will be a prime history episode telling the story of the primes and origins of the fallen and maybe hopefuly a raf episode when he go all ape crap tell the team how he feal being left off missions
