I said this back when we had the last-season-of-prime scare.

Animal forms make bad toys. Usually have one of 3 problems with their engineering.

1. Lots of animal leg kibble. Organic shaped legs just don't fold up into nice robot shapes.

2. Recycled limbs. Incredibly lazy transformations. Flip up the claws to form arms, straighten hind legs to form robot legs and those poor ankle ball-joints just can't take it when animal heads or wings are incorporated into the top heavy torso.

3. Massively shellformer. Mammoth Big Convoy anyone?

My hope is we'll get a Prime-verse version of Optimus Primal so we can have Prime(Cullen) and Primal (Chalk) fighting side by side.

Because Predaking is a good name for a Predacon Leader? We don't need a full blown remake of G1 up in here.

We knew it was part of Transformers Prime not long after we saw they applied for the trademark. Nothing new in that regard.

They've proven with Vehicon that they're capable to take plenty of what should be ugly kibble and put it elsewhere.

We haven't had many shellformers since Beast Wars/Machines, and the numbers reduced further during Cybertron. You could count this piece of frozen crap-in-a-box:

I do have to admit that I agree on one point, Beastformers tend to have rather uninspired transformation schemes. But it's also been quite a long time since they put beastformers to the grind, I'm looking forward to some new and awesome molds!

Ugh. I was really into TFP (the show, not the figures). I thought the show was a cool, modern take on the TF story. I am not happy about the introduction of a new faction and especially if they are going to have beast modes. I hope it doesn't ruin the show for me.

I will not be buying any beast formers.

His pegleg is just a 5mm peg, and his claw (the one on his left arm) just pegs back onto it. You can see it in the back of the lion mode picture

Predaking looks potentially cool, but I'll only get him if he bears some resemblance to G1 Predaking, which doesn't really look like the case. Still, I hope they keep vehicle TFs around, otherwise it'll be time for a mainline hiatus for me.

Also, I wish we'd get some other big TFs again. I haven't missed Leader class all that much because of the cost, but some characters just NEED to be big.

ugh, robots that transform into organic beasts, only made sense in Beast Wars because there were no machine's around yet. But Beasts and Machines?
That's what made me stop watchin the first time around!

The only thing we need left is a sweet Emo vampire bot.. maybe Rat-Bat will show up with a Cure CD and some sweet trench coats.
Then Season four will Have Wierd Wolf, a challenged teen bot who must
