Is the joke within the joke that in Korea, "Gundam" has come to mean ANY large robot, be they mecha or sentient, due to bizarre international copyright issues allowing the term to be slapped on random knock-off toys indiscriminately?

So if like me, you just can't hear "Gangnam" as anything but "Gundam", no matter how hard you try, just keep telling yourself what Gundam means in Korean, and it's actually funny again instead of jarringly inappropriate!

Gangnam is an upper class neighbourhood in Seoul. This has nothing to do with Gundam.

Gangnam is an upper class neighbourhood in Seoul. This has nothing to do with Gundam.

Uh, yes, I know the song doesn't, but it still sounds like a "d" every time unless I REALLY try to hear "gn", and I'm far from the only one who hears it. I was speculating about the interpretation of whoever did this video. A good parody should have multiple, subtle layers, open to interpretation, and I like this one enough to hope it's no exception.

Brilliant... Absolutely brilliant.
I'm not ashamed to say I've been enjoying Gangnam Style and the various versions people out there have done. (FAROFF's "Gangnam Busters" Gangnam Style/Ghostbusters mashup on youtube being of particular note, as well as Klingon Style, Gandalf Style, Deadpool vs Gangnam Style, and several Minecraft videos to name some other entertaining ones)
This video, taking something I've been enjoying, and mixing it up with something very near and dear to me since childhood, just makes my day.
