Our friends down under have made the first retail sighting of Transformers Generations: Fall of Cybertron Voyagers wave 1. This wave features the rather odd case assortment of Soundwave with Laserbeak and their repaints Soundblaster with Buzzsaw. This information makes it's way to us by way of the Australian fansite Ozformers. The figures were found at Toyworld in South Australia. Hopefully these two will find their way Stateside in the near future.

No sh*t man, TRU prices aren't looking so bad right about now. But does anyone know if both Soundwave and Soundblaster will come with hand weapon? Most of the pics I have seen show them with their shoulder weapons only.

Im already committed to the Takara versions. However, I would like to buy a Hasbro Soundwave and the Blaster repaint to kitbash a Twincast. That is, if the mold is easy to take apart and not filled with those damn tight ass pins. I guess only time will tell...

I'm still using my Music Label Soundwave and Soundblaster as those characters and I still have no regrets. I'm just glad we're finally seeing these two. It means Grimlock's release is getting all the closer.

Australian Dollars, as the sighting was in Australia. Expect the US price to be around $30.

And I'm still torn between Deluxe Soundwave and the Voyagers.
