Toys"R"Us Japan has posted images of the recently announced Takara Tomy Transformers Generations TG-17 Blaster with Steeljaw and TG-18 Skywarp. We know that Hasbro plans to release Blaster, but Skywarp's domestic release status remains unknown. Check out the images mirrored below.

He looks to use the same shiny dark metallic gray that Kickback uses. Not as black as previous versions.

If anything, should Hasbro release a black Skywarp, he can be a (very expensive) troop builder

I've got Ravage right in front of me, and I must say, I'm excited to get Steeljaw and Ramhorn. I really hope they make Overkill and Slugfest.

I hope so. Skywarp looks great. I'm truly surprised they didn't appear in FOC, but I hope that doesn't have any baring on Hasbro redeco'ing them. (Or Fan Pub for 2014 Botcon!)

I noticed that too..he is really more Purple than Black. Maybe if Hasbro decides to jump on this wagon, they'll reverse the color palate a bit.

That being said, I don't hate the purple at all.

Steel jaw looks like a cat. Not tough enough. Ravage is Gina destroy him. Although ravage uses the same mold. I guess he looks like a cat too. Damn! A black and yellow cat. Awful mold. Blaster does look nice. Better use of mold than soundwave

www.paxcybertron.wordpress.com - you can see what I did with the mold on my site here - makes him more compact, fills in the body a bit, but you lose the tail. For Ravage it works, he looks a bit like his War Within design. Not sure if it'll work for Steeljaw though.

That is pretty lame. I'll probably pick it up if they do one here at retail...if the mold doesn't totally suck, but the order for the import has officially been canceled.

Pretty sure Skywarp's wings aren't purple...

..but whatever, he's pretty sweet. If he gets a domestic release, definitely going to pounce on him, then pray for a Thundercracker to go along with him and Starscream.

Of all the Skywarp incarnations, the WFC/FOC Skywarp is supposed to have the least amount of purple in his palette. Except maybe for some obscure minicon I'm forgetting about. This thing looks like a generic Seeker from the G1 cartoon.

That Skywarp figure is beautiful. It may become my first Takara purchase should I be able to get it for less than $50.
