I must be in the minority, but I DO NOT like this figure, The aesthetic looks completely different than the first few seasons of Prime, and frankly, looks a LOT like Animated, which I never cared for at all. It looks way too Playskool to me. The robot mode is okay, but that head! It doesn't look at all like Optimus to me. The only way I could tell it's him (aside from the packaging) is the fact that it's a red truck with blue bed/legs.
Speaking of packaging, what's up with the Prime bios? They're barely a sentence or two long on the Deluxes, and as far as I've seen, non-existent on the Voyagers. Is that a new trend? Bumblebee's was barely even a sentence, and one that said he was a scout, and found some weapons. It's like Hasbro fired the copywriters and used the savings to make the toy bigger.

I'm really starting to like this guy. The bot mode is great, the only thing that would make it perfect is a mouth plate in my opinion, because I've just always preferred Optimus with a mouth plate, but I digress. Now I'll be honest, I LIKE the vehicle mode, I just DON'T like the window paint apps, the green windshields and yellow side windows detract from the rest of it for me. It just looks out of place, they should have been blue, or just plain clear.
Otherwise, I'm starting to consider picking this guy up...

Dumbing down TF's? Hasbro hasn't released a simple-to-transform transformer since Movie 1 2007. The Unicron Trilogy transformation difficulty was pretty much gone since then. And I may be one of the few, but I like simple transformations

Looks pretty dang awesome. I could do without the green windows, but if that's how it looks in the show then I'll accept it. But is the sword supposed to be the star saber? If so, I'm disappointed that it's not at least blue (again, fine with it if it's green in the show).
I like the face, but yeah, I'd rather have a face plate. Maybe we'll get lucky and get a leader with the face plate?
This gets me super pumped for the show, I know if he gets reformatted into this there's gonna be an episode where he first encounters some Decepticons and beats the crap out of them.

I do too. No transformation should be longer than the time it takes you to hum the Transformation sound.
