I just hope that they don't mess it up. The redesigns for the characters look... Okay, they don't look the best, but I think I can get used to them. But if they just make it some random gimmick phase the show has to go through (ala the powerlinx portion of the Armada cartoon) I will be deeply disappointed. The first couple of seasons were fantastic, and I really hope that they do not take a dump on the whole thing.

Here's hoping that Shockwave's armor comes off. Gawsh that looks terrible with those orange chunky bits.

I think Shockwave looks pretty good. Tank mode is kinda silly but his bot will look great without the bits. and I'm sure they wont be that bright either.

I'm impressed with Shockwave. I'm also impressed Hasbro's satisfying both ends of the field with the characters we never got; removable armor so you can have a Beast Hunters toy or a clean, normal toy. Instant buy from me.

I didn't expect any less from Prowl. But I won't be buying him.

And I'm really surprised nobody in the later comments wondering if the armor comes off are able to read the text right next to Shockwave's photo: "Snap-on Beast Armor"

That's my main concern at this point as well. I really hope he has a place to store the "beast armor" if you decide not to use it but it may not happen.

My initial reaction was slight disappointment, but I'll wait for better images to really pass judgment. He looks pretty good though and I do plan on keeping my preorder. I'm somewhat color blind and at first glance I thought he was University of FL colors because he looked blue and orange to me. Glad I looked closer.

Is this book from Toy Fair? If so, I bet we'll see him out on display tomorrow and can get a better look at him.

All in all Shockwave should be OK without the armor, and I'm pretty interested in Abominus, at that size he should fit with some of the better PCC combinations.

We'll know more at NYCC, though.

I, for one, think he looks pretty good. I won't be using the Beast armor, and upon closer inspection of his weapon, it looks like it can close shut so that it isn't constantly in triple barrel mode. I can actually see a peg where it would clip together. The two halves actually seem to look like the cannon from the show as well. So to me, it looks like it will be a great representation of Shockwave.

I plan on purchasing. I love Prime Shockwave.

I am thankful that the orange armor of ultimate tastelessness shall removable.

I'm not enthused by what appear to be clunky (and probably hollow) limbs though.

The key point to all of this in my mind is in fact the "snap on..." part in Shockwave's features, if you remove all of those orangey parts and be open minded about the alt mode I think he is a rather perfect representation of the Prime Shockwave and I for one am excited. If I'm the only one excited for him then so be it, more Shockwave for me! haha

Wow. I wish I hadn't got DOTM Shockwave now (as much as I love him) Because that Shockwave is AWESOME.

Not into Cyberverse, but the Abominus is pretty cool. I do wish people would stop moaning about him not having normal hands and feet-he's an utterly inhuman fighting machine bred for war. He doesn't NEED hands. Also, "proper" hands and feet would mean combiner kibble with nowhere to go in the separate modes, which I hate.

Also, I don't get the bitching about "ZOMG ITS HOLLOW!!!!". The more hollow it is, the lighter it is, thereby decreasing likelihood of toppling over or wearing out joints from heavy limbs.

I'm excited about Shockwave and Prowl... but gads. I'm going to have to find a special place to put away the evil of those add on parts. All kidding aside, I'll be ashamed checking out with that tiger-claw-pincer-mouth abomination pictured on the box. Really dreadful. It's amazing how young they're aiming these toys for. They look like preschool or Tonka toys. Reminds me of the nonsensical Ghostbuster and Jurassic Park toys back in the day.

But yes, buying Shockwave and Prowl... and hiding away their weaponry in a box that locks.

The more I see the Terrorcons, the more I want them. Just wish they were deluxe.

What's with all the "if the armor cmes off" when it clearly says it's REMOVABLE just like Smokescreen's at the bottom of the article. READ, PEOPLE!!!! Plus, if it weren't, the claw on his shoulders wouldn't be on his feet in vehicle mode.

I'll definitely be getting Shockwave, that is, once the stores in my area decide to stock the new waves.
