Yeah predaking looks to be.

Adding more would be too much for the autobots to handle.

Unless they couldn't find a way for predaking to carry the entire season 3.

You know, I really like Prime conceptually, in that it's basically the answer to the question, "What if the movies didn't suck?", but it consistently bungles all of the best plot points and I can't help feeling this season will be the same.

As huge as Predaking is, I doubt he even has a robot mode, much less a voice, in the show. I also fear that the autobots won't be getting all of their toy line upgrades, because if they do, why have we not seen them? My hope is that the upgrades come at the end of the first arc of the season with the rebuilding of Optimus, but so far every time I think I know where things are going they come up with something way more anti-climactic.

I hope I'm wrong and they finally pulled out all of the stops this season, because I really want to see a cool idea that doesn't get shot down in the very next episode.

That, and I've heard from someone who knows someone that none of the Autobots are going to have their Beast Hunter looks in the show.

So, if all these rumors about no upgrades and only ONE Predacon are to be believed...does that mean no Dinobots either :-?

As I read all the posts on here, I had a few random thoughts I wanted to throw out there...

1) This is like a 20 SECOND clip... How is it everyone is jumping to all these random and negative conclusions?? Are some of you WANTING to be disappointed by our beloved Transformers?? I think Prime has done a phenomenal job so far...They would have to make some serious dumb things happen for me to get as negative as some of you already are...

Speaking of dumb things...

2) Predaking NOT having a robot form?? I could say ALOT here, but look at point #1 :BANG_HEAD:

... As far as the other Preds?? Oh wait, see point #1. Do I think we will see ALL of them that are getting toys?? Not really... Look at the line currently and how many characters have been seen on the show. I have a shelf full of coolness that hasn't seen one pixel of CGI time.

3) Autobots not getting their Beast looks... Hmmmm, Do I need to say it :HEADHURTS:

? Add in point #1, then the fact that the Official Hasbro release made mention of the Autobots and their armor in the show portion of the release as well as the toy section..I am sure we will see some amped up Bots :grin:

That being said, having already bought a couple Beast Humters, their instructions have a narrative...A story that I doubt will go to waste. I was hoping for clues ON the boxes, but alas, there be clues INSIDE the boxes.

OK, I am getting of my soap box... Take heart fellow Trans-fans, the clip was only half a minute long at most. Let's stay POSITIVE, and save the negativity and nay saying once we have something to complain about...My only complaint is give me a damn PREMIERE DATE!! :BOOM:

Not word one on the Dinobots showing up or not. It's pretty likely Ultra Magnus will reinforce the Autobots, and maybe Grimlock too. I'd be surprised if the animators had too many models to add to this season, and given how complicated Predaking's design is, he probably took up a lot of their budget..

This season is considerably shorter than the previous seasons. I would hope that would translate into a much bigger number of characters.

I think it's safe to assume that we will see Predaking's robot mode in the show. We've already seen his character model and Optimus' on the side of their voyager class figure boxes.

Zatara, I just want to point out that my post was mostly Crazy Guy Doomsday Scenario Speculation. In the future I will be sure to state that clearly when I talk about Prime. I obviously don't know any more than anyone else about what the season is going to look like, I am just setting my expectations as low as possible so I can fully enjoy whatever they do have for us, because this is a good show.

My concerns for this season are based solely on all of the disappointments from last season. The writers seem to have fallen into a bad habit of setting up ongoing plot points only to neatly wrap them up in the very next episode. "Armada" and "The Human Factor" stand out as the two most offending episodes, but "Operation: Bumblebee" was also a big let down since it didn't actually have any lasting impact on Bumblebee. At the same time, those are also really cool episodes, so I am sure I will like whatever happens.
