I am currently disassembling a G1 Sixshot so that I can remove his yellowing and old stickers. I restore old toys, mainly G1 Transformers since I collect them. But I am having a lot of trouble with pulling apart the forearm that slides over the fist. (pictures below) So I am inquiring on here to some veteran collectors and refurbishers/kitbashers may be able to point me to some photos that can show me why the two forearm pieces will not come apart. I have a sneaking suspicion that it is due to the metal bolt holding the plastic tire in place but I can't be fore sure about that. Can anyone point me into the right direction?

I have this exact same problem. Can somebody please explain how or if it's even possible to safely remove these wheels from sixshot?
