[Dark Starscream]

The Emperor has force powers, and an army of storm troopers.

Hordak can use magic, can turn his body into weapons, and an army of Horde troopers.

Who wins?

I figure it this way, I hate both characters.

So what I have to look at is how I hate which the least.

The Emporer, was realy just an old pedofile who outsoursed his work and had lightning fingers that always seemed to work more against him that anything.

Hordak, was basicly the power suply for Skeletor who does kick ass, with the only real thisg going against him was that he stared as She-Ra's villian. Eviler suroundings, Eviler troops, Eviler Powers...

I give it to Hordak one on one.

I say The Emporer on a grand scale cause much like the good ol USofA, he's got the bombs! I don't think Hordak would fair so well against a fleet of starships. That is unless he called in new Skeletor, cause he was cool!

But even still that wouldn't work cause the canceled third season had him primed as a userper

i dont know alot about hordak, but ill go with palpatine. i know i keep mentioning it, but in dark empire palpatine could destroy an entire armada with a force storm. i dont think hordak can match that. plus if it came to close combat sidious is possibly the best duelist in any of the star wars movies.

there is alot of debate as to whether mace actually defeated him, or if sidious let mace disarm him to appear weak in front of anakin to show mace as the aggressor and we may never know the answer, but sidious is still on par with the likes of yoda, so that says enough.

If he was that good, couldn't he have just stopped himself from falling into the Death Star guts that killed him then, or just split Vader in half when he was being picked up or something?

it was a whole "will of the force" thing. anakin was the chosen one and it was his destiny to bring balance to the force, and no matter how powerful sidious was, he simply couldnt fight that outcome.

that hordak vid was cool, but didnt show him with the kind of power it would take to stop dark empire sidious.

I don't remember much about Hordak from the 80's, but, going off of the small glimpse of him in MOTU, I give him the win.
