Still not digging this set at all.

This is really the first convention set I've seen in a very long time that just doesn't do it for me. Usually I can find something I like in everything Transformers, but this set is lackluster at best to me. I feel like I'm getting a set of MOTU Faker like characters. Bummed so far ... hopefully the convention comic will turn my opinion of these figures around.

Me either, the only one I could see myself wanting really is Goldbug, the rest kind of suck. Though I wouldn't mind having Jazz's head to put on a movie G1 colored Jazz.

I really like how they remoled the head as a homage to his G1 counterpart with battle damage. The colorscheme is also nice. The only complaint I have is that I think they should have given him the Mini-con Incinerator instead of the Key, they could have renamed it Recoil after his targetmaster partner.

Probably did not want to have to have something that required even more paint apps. But I agree it would have been nice to use the Armada mold instead of the remolded Cybertron planet key using mold and give us another minicon.

It should have been easy enough to swap the new head with the old...

Although, if this one is true, that head sculpt is pretty interesting.

I had put Armada Blurr because that was the last rumor we had heard, so it would be like a continuation to the next phase, so oh look not Armada Blurr, Cybertron Blurr... I edited it now though.

Ok, so the toys aren't blowing us away, but the story, well the potential of the story is what grabs me. No more Nemesis Primes or Scourges to justify an evil Prime, it IS Optimus/Convoy and he IS evil. I love it.

Shattered glass is gonna be more than just a Botcon story, I believe. It can become its own continuum. I already got plans for DVD Prime repaints, fan fic continuing the Botcon story, whatever it may be, the whole kitten kaboodle. Ur dagone right, I said kitten kaboodle! :o)
