As all eyes start looking for the final waves of Movie figures to start showing up in stores, expect more reviews to show up of the new PREMIUM series, highlighting what is new and different about them.

Here we have a video review of PREMIUM LEADER CLASS OPTIMUS PRIME showing very clearly the new knife gimmick, and the new head sculpt, as well as, one more cool new surprise!

The only thing I like about that figure is the sword, but I'm not going to buy that figure again just so I can have the sword.

The head is LAME!
It looks more like Frank from Donny Darko than Movie Prime.
The sword is nice, a shame these won't make it to Germany.

Seriously, if this is what Hasbro is going to do then we might as not buy any wave one toys for the next movie and just wait for Premiums.

All this premiuw crap sucks, Hasbro should've gotten it right the first time. Also when are we getting Leader Class Bonecrusher, i thought we were supposed to get four leader class figs from the movie(?)

I agree they could have saved themselves the trouble and released Premium Prime first. Skip Nightwatch and original. Also, Desert Brawl is useless. I'd buy a Voyager Bonecrusher and Wreckage.

As for the whole gun arm vs. sword arm, they changed that in the movie at the last minute (the early script, comic and novel all have gun arms on Prime), so I'm guessing they designed the first toy back then, and didn't have time to change it for the first release.

The head looks a lot better than I expected, it gives him even more of a warrior appearance. A new weapon, better paint apps, and the addition of the transformation sound is worth it to me.

I see some shelf space that he will fit into nicely.

Don't like the new head and disappointed with the sword. I do like the transforming noise when the head pops up, though...
