Fatguy has updated his blog with new pics of his recently acquired Transcanning Bumblebee figure. Pics so BB in all modes including, Protoform, Robot and car modes. FatGuy says BB has great poseability, as does Transcanning OP previously mentioned here, and that Robot and Car modes look great.

well not really expensive to some but its 5 weeks pocket money to me unitll i get a job i just bought micron legends unicron misb off ebay. its my first unicron yay :mrgreen:

Protoform robot: looks quite good but I'm not interested in it.
Meteor: looks greadful
Car: looks ****. The roof and doors are the right colour but the rest is ORANGE.
Robot: looks nothing like the CGI. Car parts in totally the wrong place. His grill ends up on his knees with a second fake grill on his chest. I shall definately not get this.

The robot mode looks way too bulky with all that stuff hanging around, re-entry mode is plain awful, only the alt mode looks good.

I wouldn't get one, even if it where the last TF in th world.

As expected, this thing looks ugly as sin... Alt isn't too great, and the robot is just shockingly bad. And you can't tell me anyone is getting this for the protoform or the meteor...
This thing should definitely go back to the drawingboard. Even though I was sceptical about the whole transscanning thing anyway, at least Optimus Primus looks the business in all modes.

I think the alt mode looks great. The color differences are prolly more due to the camera flash than anything.

While the bot mode is pretty cool, like Prime, it's just wrong. That's odd to me, since these guys are all made with stick on pieces.

I'm just not a partsformer fan, and these guys are 100% partsformers.

To be honest, I'm not particularly bothered about how much he does or doesn't resemble the movie version. And yes, the comet mode is rubbish. But...

As toys, these Trans-Scanners are freakin' awesome. It's like five toys in one! Imagine the huge efforts in design and engineering that went into this thing.

I'll bet designing a Transformer toy is hard enough. But to design one that has a cart-load of clip-on armour which transforms with and around the inner figure is an absolutely amazing feat. We should be thankful this dude looks as close to the movie version as he does.
