BBTS has posted Sunstreaker and Prowl as the next two Henkei figures. Previously these two pre-orders listings had been blank on their pre-order page with the place holder names C-07 & C-08.

Ages 3&Up reported in April that the two figures would be Sunstreaker and Prowl. However, uncertainity was created because BBTS and other retailers did not update their sites respectively. With this new updated information people should now feel confident with preordering these two figures from BBTS. These two figures are slated for a September release, which is a different release date as reported on other sites.

I have the Hasbro versions preordered, I'll wait to see pictures of these to decide if they are worth getting instead.

Chrome arms for Sunstreaker and chrome shoulder cannons for Prowl. That’d be my guess.

I have not seen any trace of the new Classics, I may just get the Henkei versions instead from an online toy store.

I'd like to see Sunstreaker's engines chromed,maybe Prowl's missiles too. The other thing Universe Prowl is lacking is the police badges on his shoulders so if the Henkei version had those I'd be more likely to get it.

And you shouldn't until August. That's when the new UNIVERSE toys (not CLASSICS) are scheduled to make their first appearance.

The Henkei versions are following in October I believe

I would have to see a colored picture to see if there is any difference between the Henkei and Hasbro versions. If there is no difference, I will stick with my Hasbro version, otherwise, I might change my BBTS preorder from Hasbro version to the Henkei version.

In all fairness I do appreciate the heads up with the previous news. And I do appreciate the helpful and "pleasant" comments. In light of the various comments and questions -

Yes, Ages3&Up did have Sunstreaker & Prowl next to their listings for C-07 & C-08. That was an oversight. However, since there were blank names next to BBTS's listings for over a month it creates uncertainity among buyers. This news should act as a reminder and to help confirm previous claims. If you already knew this and felt confident with your preorders then you are a savvy bold Transformers fan! And gold stars will be given out later.

A couple things to keep in mind:
BBTS is one of our site sponsor, so we do cover new information on their site as soon as it is made available.

Yes, the release dates are different than described in previous stories. No confirmation can be given at this time.

Yes, I have updated the story to reflect the changes. Though the title will remain as a confirmation (see the reason why above).
