Not always true. I "hated" on Animated Oil Slick when I saw his pictures. I hated on him even more with each new picture. I have not and will not buy him. He doesn't interest me in the least and I feel no need to go and buy him and waste $8-10.00

I was just saying there is a difference between seeing pics, and holding and playing witha tf. I though Animated bee and Ratchet were gonna suck and looked bad in the pics and boy was I wrong. they were quite cool.

Oh bugger! Cyclonus looks like he can only hold his weapon/targetmaster in his right hand. The left hand looks like it doesn't hold anything - no hole.

I think Cyclonus can hold the weapon in either hand. Look at the Nightstick guy. When he's in gun mode, his "arms" slide down to "hold" Cyclonus hand.

So i predict there will be no holes in both hands. Rather, it's the gun that will "grasp" the holder's hand.


I love this new Ravage. Look at the rockets. It's no longer detachable chrome thing that you grab out of thin air. It's now built into the cassette tape itself. I like it!

Think I'll wait for Henkei Cyclonus (or hopefully US edition Cyclonus - I don't like the chrome).

The only thing that sucks about Inferno is the unpainted window details. The mirrors, the wiper blades, etc. So much detail there, just left to be ignored.

It's a bit odd that the lights on the top are clear too.. but they're no where near deal-breakers for me, he still looks pretty awesome. Cyclonus on the other hand is a total let down in terms of paint apps. Particularly after we saw how kick-ass he could look with a decent paint job.

I'm too lazy to wait for Henkei Cyclonus, besides, the grey/purple will make him cohesive with Universe Galvatron. At least, that's what I'm telling myself, as I really can't afford any more import items for a while. Henkei Thundercracker and City Commander have successfully raped my wallet.

EDIT: Also, Cheetor looks better and better with every picture I see.

Oh my God! It's always the same thing! I seriously hope that Takara launches at least Hound and Cyclonus because Hasbro colors are so bad, they look like they are sick, their color seems to be faiding. They look like remake transformers or maybe Transformers that are for sale in Chinise stores here in Portugal.

Cyclonus is one of the most disappointing paint jobs. Why did Hasbro tease us with pictures of a properly painted figure, and they give us this crap? Is this their strategy in order to make us purchase a G1 anime repaint of Cyclonus down the road - like they are doing with Starscream now?

i really don't like Cyclonus's limb paint browning plastic and white just don't look good. I'll stipp buy him but I'll prolly paint the limbs everything else looks good.

The biggest problem I have with Cheetor is the weapons. He should have his old Beast Wars guns, or at least one of them!

Makes me worried about the weapon for Universe Dinobot.

I`ve seen Universe Dinobot. His tail can split open, and looks like it might detach, so i'm fairly certain he has his Velocicopter. You should be more worried about his strange hips.
He does have the waist bones though, yaaay for that.
He also appears to have a faction symbol that flips inwards for Dino mode. Biggest gripe for me is that his color scheme is not Dinobot-based at all.

The brown and white plastics look like the soft stuff. When it's pearly like that, it's generally softer. Paint doesn't want to stick to that for squat. You might have to use a little sandpaper on it to give the paint a grip on the plastic. However, if you screw up, you end up with a nasty looking figure.

I'm like you, however, I plan on painting that sucker asap, once he arrives. He does, however, look like he'll need to be pulled apart in several different places to achieve the desired affect. Quite frankly, I'm getting tired of it, but it's still not worth it to me to wait the time difference and pay the extra for the Henkei version. For all we know, Takara could throw us for a loop and give us some odd coloring we weren't expecting.

I dunno. I'm just really disappointed in Hasbro with the pre and product pics. I see no good reason to change Cyclonus as much as they have.

Really not sure what they were thinking when they make that Cheetor and Dinobot. I imagine that Cheetor is supposed to be some kind of amalgam of various Cheetor incarnations, and ends up looking like massive fail because of that. Dinobot, on the other hand, just looks bad. I guess they wanted the Raptor mode to look good, so they sacrificed the robot mode.

And please, let that Armada Hot Shot be mistransformed. I hope the final figure doesn't look like that. The arms/shoulders don't look right.

I love that Hot Shot. He's perfect, really. He's poseable enough that he's not quite like his predecessors, but he still has the giant shoulders and sloping forehead feel to evoke the YuM JaAm!! look as well. It's the best of both worlds.
